And I say, "That'll change next year" because, as long as my clearances/drug test/etc. come back acceptable (as they should)... I got the job I interviewed for this morning.

She called me at lunch time and said "I couldn't wait till Monday to tell you". I'm trying hard to contain my excitement, but WHOOOO BOY am I losing that battle :)

Oh honey. I consider Disneyland (and sometimes, you'll hear me say "my Disneyland") my home. I grew up going to that park, but it's been far too long since I've been...home.

That'll change next year.

Wooohhhooooo!!! For you and next year!!! :joyfull:

Fortunate to have been there several times over the years, myself. Not since 10, though. :( Need to fix that ASAP...! :)

I wish we could plan a Sageteers Takeover of Disneyland for next year. Maaaan, that'd be awesome.

Dibs on the room closest to the bar, though I suspect others may have beaten me to that. :cautious: You know who...you.. are.

I'm just not happy that he treated me so rudely and asked that I put the drink down. You don't do that if you are a girl. He could have said "Please be careful with your drink" or since I was with my brother, asked that one of us hold it at all times. Either solution would be better than, "Just leave it here." I shudder to think what would happen if he told another young woman that.
To me it just sounds like he was doing his job and following policy. He can't really go against the rules and grant you special permission to keep your drink with you in the arcade. As I said before, he's probably just one of the few CMs who actually enforces that rule, but that doesn't mean it isn't the policy.

Well we have been talking about cousins......

A women in Brazil was given up for adoption and was recently reunited with her Mom and then she found out she had a brother.

But by chance she already knew her brother 'cause she has been married to him for 10 years and has a 6 year old son with him.

All was found out by participating on a TV show that reunites people.

Yea, youngest DD hit us with that one as we were conversing over dinner last night...

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

I took a coffee in a travel mug to my uncle's funeral visitation.

The lady at the door, asked me to leave it with her, and that I would be free to enjoy it in the lounge after I've visited the family.

No big deal. I gave her the cup, went into the visitation room, and then drank it in the lounge 15 minutes later, before returning to the room.

Then I saw my cousin in the room with a Coke.
And guess what, no big deal.
Rules are rules. I got "caught". She did not.

WOW. That's a big (and getting bigger!) house. Holy carp! With all of that in your private home, why on earth would you ever really need to leave? Very cool.

By chance, are these people looking to adopt a 30 year old daughter? I'm house broken and have great manners.

And I'd just about kill for chile relleno and guacamole!

These folks are in their mid-late 30's, with 3 young-ish kiddos. I asked if they'd be interested in adopting me, but, apparently, I'm a little long in the tooth. ;) You'd fit right in, though...with the parents.
Except for one thing.....
The big bar in the entertainment area is for resale purposes only (no joke :(),
and is being called a "Juice Bar"...:cry:

Oh, and the chili relleno was friggin' AWESOME!!! :joyfull: Family place, incredible every time...!!! :hungry: :)

Guys I had a really great job interview this morning- the woman seemed to really like me and I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but all my instincts are telling me "you got this"... SO EXCITED. She said she will call me on Monday.

Fingers crossed, please! HUGE pay increase, so I can finally get out of this awful living situation with the abusive aye hole.

Very cool!!!
All the prayers and karma the world can spare to ya'!!!!! SOOOOO very much hope this happens for you!!!!!!! :joyfull: (pretty sure I'm usin' that smilie too much, but, this definitely called for it! ;))
As is often said, money can't buy ya' happiness, but, ya' know what it can give ya'...? Options. And, options can, very often, lead to some serious happiness...!!!!! :)
