When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Sleeps all day. Walks the house all night. Literally.
He is usually still up when I get up @ 6:15 a.m.
He has also just informed me that he has decided against getting a job, as he is going back to school in 3 weeks anyway.
Well yeah, duh - it's not like you can work while you are finishing up YEAR SIX of high school.

It was a little after 6 am this morning. My DD is training and certifying a dozen new lifeguards over this week. I'm making a mock Chipotle burrito (which I've got down to a science now.) I'm standing next to my kitchen table, bar height as my DD is pretending also to be awake while shoveling food down her throat.
On a paper plate so far is burrito, rice, chicken, sauteed onion, corn, roasted pepper and I'm about to add the non cooked items. My DD bellows sharply WALTER!!! I have not had enough coffee to notice him under me delicately grasping his teeth on the 2" of burrito extending over the table top and suddenly the half made burrito was quickly sliding off the table.

Sitting in the waiting area at my daughter's therapist. This week the radio is on a new music pop station. With some of the AWFUL music I have been forced to listen to over the past 45 minutes I find it hard to believe what songs DON'T make it to the radio. And when did a Casio keyboard become an en vogue instrument again???!
