Relieved?

Not sure yet, DH has spent so much time getting it to this point along with one of his brothers. He made the comment last night when he got home that he wants to spend as much time after work with her as possible to get her acclimated. I wishy on that. He is so exhausted and looks so bad. And this place is filled with activities, groups, club type things, I'm not sure him sitting with her (or anyone else) that will get her involved with the place.

He also has two projects at work coming to a head at work that he is so far behind on. He has missed so much work since she went on her all day road trip to Wisconsin boarder that sooner or later that is going to implode.

But I am glad she is finally she is finally there.

And Trump opens his mouth again:

“Stop the EBOLA patients from entering the U.S. Treat them, at the highest level, over there. THE UNITED STATES HAS ENOUGH PROBLEMS!” Trump tweets. The all-CAPS are for added drama.

These people, as regrettable as it is that they got sick, traveled to Africa because they wanted to. In other words, getting the virus is all on them so the other Americans, who don’t have the choice to flee the country in case of an outbreak, should not have to pay for their choice.

Unfortunately, I can't just tell this person to F off. She's trying to be my friend when we are oil and water, and when I disagree with her about ANYTHING, suddenly the world is against her. She's jealous of me and the fact that I'm in college and have a car when she's not even old enough for either of those things. She also has zero respect for me. So I'd really like to tell her that I don't want to be her friend. But I don't know how to say it without coming across as a horrible person.

Yeah. Teen drama. I am WAY too old for this.
she definitively sounds like a poisonous type person.
That wants to be in the right all the time if not will cause drama.

reminds me of some people I used to go with.. they looked fine in the outside, until you noticed they always talked crap about you in your back and also everyone's else. this person also constantly sabotaged everyone's relationships and friendships. Its like he had this "If I do not have a close friend/mate/boyfriend/girlfriend, noone will!" and "if I am not happy, noone should" kind of attitude.

these type of persons needs to be left in the trash while you continue forwards in your life.

Yeah, definitely wish she were out of my life and have tried to get her out of my life several times. She confuses being nice with wanting to be friends. This is what could happen

Unfortunately, our moms are friends and our brothers are friends (and her brother is a really nice kid), so I can't completely avoid her. You just know when you are in college and the only thing that your parents care about is knowing what you are doing, keeping your room clean, doing your homework, and not getting drunk, and the other person's parents have to get involved in her friendships and punish her for the way she treats others, you have a problem. Oh, and yells at you when you're trying to make things right and insists that she's doing nothing wrong. And tells you to your face that she doesn't need to respect you because, "You're only three years older than me!" Failing to understand that a friendship requires respect on both sides=bad friend.

Oh yup. Ugh. I left the drama behind in high school.

Trump unfortunately.. as entered the "poor senile rich conservative man" phase.
Where they open their mouths, complain, blast nonstop on things they have absolutely no idea about.

Reminds me of the texas debate a few months ago.. where a bunch of old male guys were debating about FEMALE reproductive parts.

People like that throw gems like "If a Woman has right to an abortion, a man should have right to force himself on a woman"

And I just called her to apologize for what happened AGAIN because I may have contributed unintentionally to the situation, and I got an "I don't forgive you. You're a horrible person." To which I say

Ugh. Oh well. I told her that in a few years we could be friends again. At this rate...not likely.

EDIT: At least I got to tell her that I don't think forcing a friendship is good for either of us and backing off but still being kind is the best thing for either of us. And tonight, when I see her at our meeting, I intend to give her a great big smile and say hello. Not just because it's the right thing to do, but as a bonus, it will probably make her very mad.

Parents were in a panic this weekend when their 9 year old went missing Central Park Zoo. While police look for him for 2 hours he was having the time of his life in Time Square and checked out the Port Authority Bus Terminal and that is where police found him. His parents were so relieved that they cried. The boy said it was the best day of his life because this was the first time he was in a police station.

Doesn't Dad look happy?

probably because he will get targeted with the classic questions of "why you did let him go out of your sight?" then the accusations of "you are an unfit parent!"

Alternatively, he is just calming down after the huge rush of having lost your son. the fear...etc..

Are you saying the Jets are a dysfunctional team with a circus of a locker room?
You'd be right - I'm just curious if that's what you were saying?
Not so much that they were a dysfunctional team, but it's just a much bigger media market over there. Some people like it, some don't. And with the players, towards the end of the season when Favre suffered that elbow injury I remember players like Thomas Jones making comments about him. He never really had that in Green Bay.
