HAH!, reminds me when there is a challenge in the internet, to see which dog lasts more holding food in their nose or head before trying to munch it!

So remember how last week I said that I had gone to the dermatoligist to get a mole checked out? Well, the doctor said that it would take a few days to come back with the results. So today I called in and asked if the results were in. I got the most, rude, condescending person on the phone who told me that no they were not in and that I would have tocome back in two weeks for the results. Well, I explained to her that I would be away in two weeks and am unable to come in the office before then, so I'd likethe results before then. Obviously, if it's life threatening, I would make the time to come in before then. She told me that they can't call me with the results, that I have to come in. I told her I will be away for two weeks and do not want to wait four weeks before receiving results. Then she told me that I could call them. Any other time I've had tests done, the office has always called me with the results. So I told her that this was completely ridiculous and hung up. Going to call my doctor and complain because except for him and his nurse, every other person in that office is rude and condescending (including the person I spoke to today who was the worst out of all of them. "Let me explain this to you". Really?), and I know it's my age because my mom has used that office before and never received this kind of treatment. I'm over 18, I manage my own health, therefore, I deserve the same respect as any other patient. It's enough to make me never go back to that office ever again.

Wow, seems these guys just do not take young persons seriously.
And these kind of people then wonder why young people are rude to them.
They reap what they sow.

Correct, that was not my only woe of the week.
Updated my windows 8 installation to windows 8.1 and was getting blue screens of death (critical errors) over and over and over.
after thousands searches and attempts to fix.. I found.. IT WAS THE SOFTWARE FIREWALL (COMODO) that caused the total collapse of the OS.
removed it, uninstalled..everything was fine!...

since comodo refuses to knowledge fully their software is completely f**** on windows 8.1 (they even pulled the version 7.X which supposedly works in windows 8.1) I decided to switch to another firewall, which ran just fine.
Except for one thing..
A SINGLE PATCH of windows (for internet explorer) was blocked silently by the new firewall.. lol ( I know that IE is crap and considered "dangerous" software.. but I need that patch!)
took me another full day of searches, googles..etc.. only one solution was found.. either uninstall or disable for next run and then reenable.. did that.. installed patch.. ALL IS WELL!

I keep having that happen. There was a free giveaway at a baseball game not too long ago. It was for those over 21. They handed me the floppy hat like it was no big deal. Two days later, there was another giveaway for those 15 and older. They questioned me on my age. I said, "Would you like to see my driver's license that says I'm 19?" When I went to DL last year, we were checking in, and the woman asked me if I was graduating middle school. :mad: Now THAT was stupid. I clearly am not a middle schooler.

Later, my mom sent me to the grocery store. I said to her friend (like this ;)), "I went to the grocery store. And I drove the car to get there!"

Good luck. What ya gonna get? My Dell is driving me nuts it freezes. This newer Dell about 4 years old has been stupid its whole life. It is running so hot the last few days. It has done this before but if I restart it, it tends to correct itself.
