Can I tell you how much I love the Electric Water Pageant?! :joyfull: I read that it began back in the 70s and it's amazing that it is still going strong in 2014. On those few occasions, (since the late 80s, that I stayed at either the Contemporary, Poly, GF or Wilderness Lodge), I always had to watch it go by. The music is all distorted and weird, which just adds to the "charm" of this whole spectacle! :hilarious:

A while ago I found this awesome book bag/camping bag/hiking bag at a flea market and bought it for $1. The guy warned me that the zipper pulls were broken off, and there was a small hole where the zipper on the front of the bag was separating from the material.

I'm a crafty person and thought it was still too cool of a bag to pass up, and bought it.

A bit of braided nylon rope, an old set of earrings, scissors, pliers, and a glue gun later..and now the bag is not only fixed, it has more character than before.

I'm quite smitten with it. There's fantastic support, lots of storage, and the straps and back are well padded and comfortable. It's designed for folks camping or hiking, but will become an everyday bag for me to shove my work clothes/shoes and lunch into :)

And yes, the old earrings are/were Beaker. :D
