And the minority makes the rest of us look bad...

I got a chuckle out of trr 1's post, but the reality is that the world is made up of all kinds of people. I honestly try to evaluate people, not as a group or a demographic, but as individuals with different talents and character traits. I am happy to say that good, decent, people can be found in every age group. :)

No
So a few years ago, I was really good friends with this girl. We're no longer friends because she was cruel and showed no respect. She's several years younger than me and doesn't get that you can't say whatever fool thing comes into your head without there being repercussions. She is also in my religious group, our moms are friends, and our brothers are friends. So I'm nice to her. And for some reason her mom thought that we were becoming friends again. And I just want to do this:

But I just smile and say, "We'll see what happens."

Ugh. I'm in college; the teenage drama nonsense should be over and done with.

The Gap and its subsideraries just raised their own Minimum to $9 and $10 next year.

IKEA also put a good jump in their own minimum wage that slides across the country, in one state it went up 17%.
The minimum wage will run from a low of $8.69 an hour at its stores in Pittsburgh and West Chester, Ohio, to $13.22 an hour at its store in Woodbridge, Va. Ikea's new average minimum wage, $10.76 an hour, was $3.51 above the current federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour.

As unemployment rate is falling some retailers are finding it harder to hire competent employees. For the last 7 years there was a surplus of people wanting these jobs, many of which were under employed. The tide is changing.

Can you imagine if the Federal Minimum goes to $10-$12, Disney is going to have a fit!
they will just raise ticket prices by $10 dollars , parking by $2 dollars and food prices by 20%

So many editorial comments....just can't choose.

But something has changed in recent years or at least since the Babyboomers launched an official organization, they tacked on 5 more years to that generation. I was never a boomer and now I am. Go figure.

Yea, it would seem that by 1964 most of "The Greatest Generation" would have been done poppin out babies except by accident. It was our turn to procreate. Let's hear it for the boomers!!!!

Mean. Just mean. I love it.
Now come over here and shush my neighbours for me. Please.

I'm getting a new neighbor on Friday and on the same day saying good-bye to an old dear friend and her Pup.
Going to be a hard week around here.

Will be interesting what the future brings, she is 26 years old buying her very first home and single.
