Having worked in a toy store before, generally they are broken down into gender (except newborns), then age categories then subcats like action figures, dress-up dolls, plush, box games

Sounds similar to The Disney Store. We would get a list with a general category (boys toys, girls toys, plush, Meal Time Magic, etc.) at the top. And, then on down the page items were listed with a short-code description, a SKU, new sale price, current sale price, original price (or, whatever combination thereof) and an approximate number of how many of that item we were supposed to have left. We used a price gun.
The most fun were the Stage Sets (basically just moving product around in their categoried sections from a wall to a standing fixture, vice versa, switching fixtures, etc.) that started right after Store closing at 6p on Sunday nights, and lasted into the wee hours of Monday morning.

Gf's roommate was invited to watch the fireworks from a friend's boat so we got to come along. Watched one town, then moved a mile up and watched the neighboring town. I might be spoiled now...
Several years ago we were driving back from VA on the 4th of July. It was so neat because every little town we went through was doing their fireworks shows, one right after another. we saw probably a dozen displays that night - really cool!

so where WERE you when you thought you were lost?
Buzzed but in the right direction.

Any way, so, After getting to the beach, I started noticing all these people dressed up in cosplay outfits. I eventually asked what was going on. It's a comic-con like convention that I had no idea was going on! So, I'm now at the Miami Beach Convention Center, sitting in a hallway, with my phone plugged in to the wall, waiting for it to charge, watching all these people "dressed" up in cosplay costumes walking by. I'm on my iPad right now and the convention center has free wi-fi.

Yep, that'd spoil me!

Cool, indeed!

Both times we flew into MCO on the night of the 4th we started seeing fireworks from below as we approached the east coast of Florida, and on through to approach at MCO, including fireworks from The Parks. :)
