When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Netflix isn't readily available in the ocean. It about as good as that Canadian Netflix that I've heard aboot.
Canadian Netflix is awful, apparently.
Most people I know are going with the Android box.

Hubby is all caught up with Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad. Watching 90210, of course. And Emergency! Apparently he used to have a thing for Nurse Dixie McCall.

Maleficent - loved it.
Started out thinking it was too sci fi/fantasy for my liking, but it grew on me.

Figured out the one true love thing fairly early.

As for the pseudo rape seen - um yeah, only in a Thomas Hardy Tess of the D'Urbervilles kind of way; if in fact we are all even talking about the same scene.

Definitely worth seeing. And although I've said it before, it bears repeating - Angelina Jolie is absolutely stunning.

I just had a flashback to my childhood driving down to Florida. Remember those vibrating beds in hotels like Holiday Inns and Howard Johnson's that you put a quarter in?

My flashback is the result of a DH snoring so loudly the bed is vibrating or my brain is.

While looking for a picture of the machine I saw retro keys. Don't miss keys that are larger than my pockets or the stupidity of your room number being proudly displayed on the key. Management was stupid back then.

Yikes. It's not even Throwback Thursday.

Sorry about the snoring thing. They say a fan blowing in the room helps. (Hogwash). The only thing thing that really works is if you can get him off his back or front, and on to his side.
Separate rooms help too.

He is on his side. Facing Me!!!

He has to be up early or I'd roll him over. Thinking tonight's version is worse 'cause there was adult beverages to go with a Black Hawks play-off game. :in pain:

These are great stress relievers.

When my kids were younger and we'd hit up the arcades on our Disney Park day breaks, they'd find me at the skee ball machines.

or if someone was willing, I loved air hockey

I love air hockey.
I used to play against my mom. Great fun.
Hubby and I play at Dave & Busters all the time. He is better than me, but I am lucky, so it all evens out.

Oh I used to love those games! When I was a kid, my parents would take us to the beach and there was a large arcade with all these types of entertainment—skee ball was a classic! It was so much fun trying to score points, because you could go claim one of the many cheazoid "prizes" they gave out for various points levels! Big fun!

Quote from Cesar --
Well, I think he took way too many messages personally, not only in that thread.. he fired a few rounds at other posted and he came back.
both were arguing for 2 days about "who started it".[/QUOTE]

The other day, I caught a few pages of the mound of dirt post, and found it positively hilarious—I was laughing out loud over some of the comments. Peter usually has a good sense of humor, and I was sad that he thought some of those people were laughing at him; that was not the case. I don't want to see anyone's feelings get hurt. They were just having fun with the subject, only. Perhaps it was best that the post was eventually deleted.

Glad he didn't leave (he's mentioned that a few times in the past). The whole point of the forums is so everyone can express their opinions, in a respectful manner, without any fear of reprisal. Others may certainly disagree with things said, but really should approach each other with basic courtesy.

He won't leave anytime soon.

This site is part of his persona.

It was an empty threat.

$2200 a DAY?

Can I have his job? I'd be out of this abusive and toxic relationship/housing situation and on to a great big beautiful tomorrow in no time flat where people don't throw coffee tables at me.

Just wanted to send some positive energy your way. I hope your situation improves very soon.

(In the interim, may I suggest a hypothetical, lame idea: put some Crazy Glue under the legs of the coffee table so that it will stick to the floor. That way, the lunatic who chose to throw it at you before, won't be able to pull that crazy stunt again . . . :banghead: )
