I had them earlier this evening and almost took pictures because after the storms we had that eerie yellow light that makes everything look so very green.

hopefully you didn't hear the trumpets of apocalypse?

Also, green and yellow colors during heavy storms gives me the jeebies.. dark green usually means there are waterspouts in the bay.

I went with some friends to a high school track meet for Regionals. Just after the national anthem (which is for some reason held in the middle of the entire event), they called a weather delay. We went and sat in the car for 45ish minutes, and it was finally cancelled and rescheduled for tomorrow. Paid two whole dollars for a ticket! I was supposed to pay three, but the guy asked if I was a student, and I said no. Then he said, "well are you in college?" I said yes, and he gave me the student discount, even though it's meant for high schoolers.

Maybe you have this "student" vibe. Maybe the student smell for having studying too much.. and he knew you DESERVED that discount.

This story warms my heart.

A 99-year-old woman was finally awarded her college diploma at a special graduation ceremony after a $5 diploma fee prevented her from receiving it 75 years ago.White says she used all her money, the $500 her uncle had given her for education only,to complete the required courses and could not afford the $5 diploma fee.

The School had a special graduation ceremony and a reception for her. The College President paid the Diploma fee.

Thats actually infuriating, that she had to wait 75 years to not graduate fully due of not having paid the diploma D:

Have you shopped the Epcot pavilions? My DS jersey came from the shop in Epcot Britain, he gets a 40% discount and it was still pricey.

Yes, the jerseys in Epcot are significantly overpriced. I'm hoping that is due to the fact that they are in the pavilions and that this store will have more variety (which it does look like in the pics) and since it is an outside vendor...
