Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
I'm not sure about the Coronado, if those rooms were designed with pocket doors or if they came later. I've only stayed there once, that was in 2012. We Grand Opened Port Orleans (FQ) and Dixie (POR) a year apart and those rooms did not have any divide. The material was originally a light weight polyester. In the FQ last month they were a heavy drape, you could not see through those and they hung nicely. They are also thick enough to block the light into the room area, which my DD appreciated.

I found the Coronado to be very Dark much like the AKL rooms, even the headboards are dark at the Coronado. I'm not much into gloomy, dark rooms. But what I did not like about the Coronado pocket doors were they were noisy. It was fine when I was the only one sleeping in the room but I had my DS with me for 3 days during that trip. I was generally up 2 hours before him and it was hard to move those big, heavy doors on a track quietly which I am sure is a problem for people with small kids.

The curtain now matches the drapes on the window.

I end up saving a big chunk of that just in bottled water savings alone.
It's nice being able to go five minutes off site to Publix and Walgreens.

I've only ever payed for alcohol at WDW, beverage-wise. I don't drink soft drinks, but, especially since we usually go in July, I drink a hechuva' lot of water. But, I just always get the free cups of iced water that every CS/QS provides free-of-charge. :)

I like dark wood and deep, solid colors so Coronado and AKL are two of my favorite room designs along with WL.
