Got mine!

Pardon the piles of Kleenex and misery all over the place, guys. In addition to being ill today is my one year anniversary of my last wdw trip...and my first/ last stay at the Polynesian.

:(

In a sense, you and I are fortunate to have experienced the original Polynesian GCH lobby (as well as unobstructed views of the lagoon, prior to the construction of the bungalows). I stayed at the GF one year prior to the construction of their DVC building, and I was happy to experience GF in its original state. Years ago, I also stayed at the Contemporary before BLT was added. All these resorts were way over my budget, but I managed 3 nights in each with the help of slight discounts, and saving up extra $ at those times. I'm really glad I experienced all 3.

I think part of what's really bothering me in relation to these 3 resorts, is the clutter factor when they add new construction to existing properties. They take 3 deluxe properties with spacious grounds (part of the "wow" factor) and dump another building (or bungalows for the Poly). It messes up the views, and the new buildings just aren't the same and don't fit in.

Yup, the last episode aired a while ago. I really liked it, especially the second half. They just should not have put it on Thursday nights. They should have used it since regular Once went on a four month hiatus to fill the gap. The Knave of Hearts, Will Scarlet (played by Michael Socha) will be joining the cast of Once Upon a Time as a series regular next season, so they may bring back even more of the characters.

I gotta admit that I fell out of love with Once after season two. The kid is a total twat, I just can't stand him. :( I've been meaning to try and watch it again but I have a mental block on the whole show. Some of the characters aren't as strong as they need to be, but hopefully that improves with each season? I haven't seen the wonderland series at all. Yet. :)

I am very fortunate to be able to stay at the poly for five days. We could have gone almost a year prior to when we did but staying at Art of animation and chose to hold out a little longer.

The real shocker for me will be seeing Disneyland ...and DCA, where a parking lot used to be. That's gonna be odd but cool, I think.

Is it weird I remember our last parking spot there? Tinker bell 38 :joyfull:

And now this is what they are doing also to the World Showcase.

The rain has stopped for now. Rain is putting it nicely. Beyond pouring, the back of my property was a lake, maybe my budding tree will like it.

My mind drifted to the Magic Kingdom after a rain.

I am officially done with psychology! Also got done with art yesterday. When I finish my paper, I'll be done with English. Then I have to take a math exam on Wednesday morning and my geography exam on Friday morning and I'll be done with the semester! Neither exam should be too hard, but I'm procrastinating so bad with that paper. Five and a half pages to write yet. :depressed:
