Good news: I don't have to go in to work tomorrow.

Bad news: I have strep and am contagious.

I went to med express after taking a nap earlier, waking up and coughing to hard I couldn't breathe. Confirmed strep. Antibiotics and throat numby stuff...and two pints of ice cream later I'm home. :(

Yikes. That's awful. Extra sleep will help. Get well soon.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
From what I read his wine was mostly water, so it might not count!:hungover:
Don't know what account you're reading, but according to the Gospel of John, the wine Jesus made was so good that the guests were amazed that the host had departed from the tradition of serving the best wine first by serving it last. (The school of thought being that there's no sense serving a bunch of free-loaders the good stuff, once they're already tanked.)

And besides, isn't most wine (and beer) mostly water? ;)

Get better and enjoy the ice cream. It helps. Well not really, but you can say it does and just blame your logic on the fever.

*Lysols your post so I don't break my streak of not getting strep*

What did John know, that was before Ripple or Boone's Farm Apple Wine was available. They would be the hallmark for quality wine.
That was until wine started to come in a box. Then a whole new standard was set.

I'm back! The reason I left was to work on our final (which we can do in groups) for the lab portion of my geography class. We have to create our own world with a bunch of stuff like subduction zones, composite volcanoes, and a bunch of other stuff that I don't know what it is. We got about half way through before we realized there was no hope for us. So our plan of action now is to wing the rest of it on Thursday in class! Solid plan, right?

Well, cat is getting better. UTI like we thought. They gave her a shot with antibiotics so we don't have to administer them. We're supposed to watch her and they'll test her again in a few weeks. They want us to watch and make sure now that she's not young anymore that this isn't a persistant thing. Poor thing though, not only was she sick, but when she was at the vets she had an accident in her carrier. They had to give her a bath. I'm just relieved. The last two times we took a cat to the vet for something other than a check up, they didn't come home. :(

Don't forget the fine vineyards that created these other classics...!
