Cinco de Mayo is not really a thing in Canada, but I would assume it's a lot like St. Paddy's Day, where once a year, everyone indulges in stereotypical Irish behaviour.

I'm pretty sure most mean no offence on either occasion.
Don't kid yourself, it's not all that big down here in "murica". Mostly in the south/southwest. In the majority of the other states it's just an excuse to get drunk. BTW, if there were no Cinco de Mayo day those same people would still be out getting drunk but instead of calling it Cinco de Mayo they'd call it Monday.

We had to do a book project for my art class, and for mine I just went on a website where you can create cartoons and made it there. I turned it in thinking I wouldn't get a good grade because I didn't put a lot of effort into it. Well, my professor looked at it and freaked out. She thought it was the neatest thing ever, and asked if she could show it to people. I said sure, and she went around to each student in the class and showed it to them. All of them were just like "yeah... neat...". It really wasn't anything special.

There are some really good shots in this week's contest ...however one in particular screams Photoshop (increased saturation...especially in the greens!)
I just noticed you turned your "well-known member" upside down. And since how long have you been a premium member? I hope I'm not just first noticing.

I'll have to wait for the answer as I have to head out for a bit. I'll be eagerly awaiting your response!
