Isn't that why we trained Busey to play the song on the piccolo?
One of us may have thrown the piccolo out a window in frustration when he wouldn't stop playing it one day...

20 page weekend. Nice work - no need to summarize. Sorry I missed out on the fun. Been in Wash, DC for my wife to run the Nike Women's Half Marathon (2:30 - very proud), spend a day and a half at the National Science and Engineering Expo (tons of fun and seeing Bill Nye and They Might Be Giants in person), and enjoy an evening out for my 42nd birthday (yes, I am now the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything).

You saw two of my favorite things in the 90s in one weekend, so excuse me while I hate you a little bit out of jealousy for a little while.

Why just the 90s? TMBG have been a favorite of mine since the late 80s. They are still putting out good music! Last album was pretty solid and the kids albums they have done have been inspired (Here Comes The ABCs, Here Comes The 123s, Here Comes Science, NO!, and Bed Bed Bed).

I was much more of a Mr. Wizard and then Beakman's World fan in the 80s. I came to Bill Nye more recently mainly through my daughter, but now have come to love him (and think he may be the best thing in UoE).

Around my office I have noticed a surge in the Tesla population. My neighborhood you don't really see anything more expensive than a 5 Series. My girlfriend's neighborhood get a lot of Ferraris and Bentleys in the summer. Had the car in my avatar pull up next to me at a red light. The engine noise when he took off felt like it could shatter my windows.

Yea, seen a few of those Maserati's around too. And, yes, they have some serious throaty exhaust notes, especially at high RPM. Good stuff. :)

I discovered them in the 90s. So that is why I equate them with that time period. Late 80s I was too young to really discover music beyond Sesame Street and what my parents listened to.

As I looked at this I am listening to The Beatle Station on Pandora Radio. I am a major Beatles fan in the same subdued way that I am a Disney fan. However, that is a much different meaning to the "Sun" then what the topic was. :D That song, BTW, is my 12 year old Grandsons absolute favorite song. Ya gotta love how the group has transcended generations. Now back to our regularly scheduled topic. I was young at the same time that the Beatles were. :)
