OK, I want to hear more since they were down there with me. Where did they stay?

I need to get more details from them, but, one off the top of my head was Kouzzina.
They said the food was OK/pretty good, but, the service was HORRENDOUS. They waited an inordinate amount time, no smiles on staff faces, everyone seemed kinda' short tempered, etc. They said it was definitely not what we have come to expect from Disney and that they were glad they did it their first night and got it out of the way 'cause it was actually kinda' depressing.
As I get more info from them over time I'll post it.
They stayed in a Mansion Royal Room at POR. :)

EDIT: Oh, and also, I forgot to include this tidbit...
DWifey called Guest Relations to lodge a complaint about Kouzzina on the newlyweds behalf and the CM told her that Kouzzina would be closing in a few months and Cat Kora was pullin' outta' WDW.
I Googled it and I got a hit from the Disney Food Blog that seems to support this.

OK, so I didn't EDIT...I quoted myself...!  :D ;) :)

That happens quite often down here in Tejas. :hungry:

Speaking of BBQ, anyone recommend good BBQ joints at Houston?
I want to be prepared the next time I go to visit my cousins and my uncle/aunt :>

Who the hell would do that stupid thing?
Specially now when the tensions are really high due of the Ukraine issues.

She wants the Russians to come after you.
Speaking of Russians.. a lot of people really have such fear of the russians that puzzles me.
Cnn.com is filled with people who seriously think that anyone who disagree with them is a "russian commie"

I don't think people are so keen on Cat Cora anymore. Her name doesn't have the pull in the cullinary community it once had.

The house I'm renting has an outdoor hot tub that's built into the deck. We don't use it (it looks gross- a previous tenant had apparently cracked it, and fixed it with some ugly looking putty. I don't want to risk further damaging it, plus the upkeep is too much money for my budget) and never will.

During the winter, one side of the cover got damaged from the punishing weather, and long story short, water got into the cover, expanded the Styrofoam and it cracked. We pulled the cover off yesterday- further breaking said piece of Styrofoam- because it was so full of water. The water then went INTO the hot tub (no damage) but the one piece of Styrofoam is destroyed.

I emailed my landlord basically what I just told yall with pictures of the cover, the hot tub, the Styrofoam and she said that since a previous tenant had replaced it, it's our responsibility to replace the cover and maintain the hot tub. Both were here when we moved in, we don't use either, and I really don't think it's our responsibility to replace the cover (thankfully, I can buy a single piece of Styrofoam which will STILL run me about $100, versus the $300 full cover).

I'm trying to be as nice and cordial as possible, but I really can't afford to replace this, plus build something OVER the hot tub to prevent anything from happening to it again. Considering it's location, it's taking up a good part of the over all deck that is basically unusable. I don't think we should have to replace it.

I'm kinda freaking out because it's been raining off and on all afternoon, and we're supposed to get plummeting temps and snow tomorrow. I know I'm going to be bailing out water from the hot tub when I get home, because I don't want it to freeze and crack the tub. However I don't know how I'm going to cover it, albeit temporarily.

And then I wonder why my anxiety is so bad today. HA.

By the way, forgot to share this earlier - sold another 5 houses today.
If they all firm up (conditional on financing for 10 days) that's 10 for the weekend.
Three more coming in tomorrow.

We are 2/3 sold out in 10 weeks. No complaints.
In a perfect world, we will be sold out by mid to late June; and I will have the whole summer off!
Do you get commissions for every House sold?
also.. I cant believe how fast you sell houses!

Did you hear about the troll?

The Brewers have not lost a game

Nemo showed up and left

The usual. A little BMing, rhubarb...

About 3 DAS threads in News and Rumors...
the DAS threads were more like total brawls than discussions.

Agree lol!

I won't look at Facebook if I missed a show, there's too many jerks that'll drop spoilers. And not the immediate friends, but they will comment on someone else's post and then it shows up on my feed.

I haven't really been on fb for a while now. It's nice to be out of the loop. I don't know what's going on and I don't care.

I can't believe the weekend is over already and I'm at the coffee house preparing to go to my job. How did this happen? :cautious: Oh well. At least I look cute in my $3 dress. That might be the only good thing about today.
Heh, Reminds me on the guys who really did their best to troll and ruin the fun for those waiting to get the final books of Harry Potter.. spamming the "Snape and Dumbledore dies!" in a car as they passed the people waiting .

It's 74 here now, 34 tomorrow. :grumpy:

Told you guys to DONT JINX IT.. but YOU GUYS DID JINXED IT!

I feel like a grown up today.

I don't like it.

Also, I already wolfed down my lunch, so it's gonna be a long afternoon. Another boring salad. But this time I inhaled it rather fast... I guess I was hungry.
you inhaled a salad??? what kind of creature are you??

imho, you need to pay.

If the house included the tub and the document said you had to keep things in shape while you rented the place.. then its your responsibility for the maintenance :/

I'm surprised how fast they sell too. Here the real estate market stinks. It's the only reason I live where I do. The landlord tried to sell it and couldn't get near it's worth. Sandy probably scared a lot of people from buying in this area too. So idk what will happen when they try to sell this place again in summer 2015.
