I gave you a like on it...
Which brings up something (as a newbie) I've been a bit worried about.

If you give someone a 'Like' on a post, but later on that post/thread gets deleted...thus removing your 'Like' that you gave him/her...does this negatively impact your credit score?

Sure. You may think I'm joking. But these are real issues that are often overlooked until when it really matters.

Your IQ score, yes, but your credit score will stay intact.

I think you're OK as long as you "like" Equifax on your FB page.

"From the director of Black Swan, The Fountain, and Requiem for a Dream" is kind of a clue that it is going to be weird. Plus the guy admitted that he is not religious and is treating the story as mythology so he probably isn't worried about what happens when he dies.

Yeah. I've heard the back stories. The film doesn't bug me but I did do a "seriously???"

And likely the Jewish and Christians are the only types of religions that can be rewritten like this. The vast majority are not that hypersensitive. Start rewriting Asian, Eastern or MidEastern religious writings and condoning the rewrites as mythology there would likely be more of a backlash.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Hmpf. I wouldn't want to be the director of Noah at the Pearly Gates trying to explain why the original Noah and the Arc story wasn't good enough and needed to be punched up. *faint*

What are those giant rock creatures helping Noah build the Arc? Thinking the director missed the boat with this film. ba dum tsssss
In all fairness, it took Noah between 55-75 years to build the arc. The entire process is described in 9 verses (Genesis 6:14-22). You have to expect some "filler" to punch up a 2 hour movie.

That being said, I doubt I'll be paying to see it.

Meh, I don't know if I would justify it as fairness to rewriting any portion of any ones religious works to have enough filler to transform the segment into a mythological entertainment. But obviously I have more boundaries than film directors do.
