Meh, I don't know if I would justify it as fairness to rewriting any portion of any ones religious works to have enough filler to transform the segment into a mythological entertainment. But obviously I have more boundaries than film directors do.

My dog, who used to enjoy playing in the cat litter, has more boundaries than a Hollywood film director/producer.

My point was - expect filler.
A complete re-write/bastardization of Holy text is unacceptable.
