I do. I'm on the front lines at work, I see the same groups of people every week. I have to "compete" with the women and it's kinda stupid. I don't want to be seen wearing the same thing every week. They aren't, but they're dumb for paying full price for everything. I buy a lot of shirt and skirts at thrift shops. I've repurposed long sleeve shirts into tank tops and skirts into dresses. It helps to know how to sew
I'm not embarrassed by it at all. I find it a welcomed challenge.
Plus, I wouldn't be able to constantly update my wardrobe, just shopping at department stores. This way, if I buy a shirt, wear it once, hate it, and dump it into my donation box, I still got my money's worth. I do draw the line at under garments and pants, but pants only because I'm extremely picky about them.
