All my music has been transferred. Now I just have to go through all my files and decide which ones I want to switch over and which ones I don't need. I don't have many, so I'll probably just use a flash drive to do so. That job will wait until tomorrow, though.

I vote for large breakfast, large lunch, large dinner, with large snacks throughout the day.

Sounds like me back in the day. I could eat a whole large Domino's pepperoni and onion pizza myself and not bat an eye. I once went through the drive-thru at Taco Bell and ordered 4 items for lunch. When I got back to the office there were 7 items in the bag. I downed 'em all. Again, back in the day when I was an active stick.

In reality I usually have a small breakfast, small to okay sized lunch, and a largerish (I'm sure that's in the dictionary) dinner with some snacks throughout the day. When you don't have a set schedule for everyday of the week you take what you can get.

Yea, these days I rarely eat breakfast at all, generally have a light lunch (to avoid gettin' the nods at my drafting table or computer), and we usually have a latish bigger dinner. Bad, I know, 'cause then it all just sits on ya' overnight.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I thought I had one coming the other night. Luckily nothing came of it. Hopefully you'll be the same!
Hope you're right, but that sneezing, hacking, bleary eyed, semi-comatose wreck I call my son, leads me to believe otherwise.

Off to sleep. Car service coming at 6am. Vegas baby!!!

Enjoy your trip! Here's my funny Vegas story. Years ago, I saw Wayne Newton's show, back when he was performing at the Las Vegas Hilton. I didn't know what to expect, but I thought the show was great (full orchestra, etc.). So, I was sitting up right next to the stage with a bunch of other women, and we were all having fun and loudly applauded him. Toward the end of the show, he stood there and looked down at our table. He then took his carnation off his tuxedo lapel, and . . . gave it to ME!!!!!!! I was completely surprised and somehow mumbled, thank you, and thought I was going to faint. Ha! Good times. :)

so is anyone giving anything up for Lent?( hopefully not WITWIBS)
today is Ash Wednesday

When I was a younger (Pentecostal) kid in Catholic grade school, I would give up something meaningful, like cookies, chocolate or packaged pastries.
Then in high school, it wasn't as cool to put as much effort into it; but Catholic peer pressure runs deep, so we usually gave up something inconsequential. I always "gave up" smoking. Entirely meaningless, as I was a non-smoker.

I don't really practice "Lenten fasting" anymore. My next door neighbour, however, still gives up beer and alcohol every year. Given that he is a regular drinker, I have always admired this true sacrifice.

How about you @trr1, are you giving anything up?
