I like Jennifer Lawrence. She seems very down-to-earth, and she is a great actress. Usually actresses her age are starring in Disney Channel crap.

Don't get me wrong, I love love love Jennifer Lawrence.. But this is the second time the poor girl tripped and fell in heals and a gown.... I just wish I was there for her to fall on to.. I mean, to help her up...

The movies I saw that are nominated for an award were The Hobbit 2, Frozen, Get A Horse and The Croods.

I saw Frozen, DM2 - 3x, Lone Ranger, Great Gatsby, Ten Commandments, and I think one other, which escapes me.
I so, wanted to see Saving Mr. Banks, but it was playing way out of town (100 km, round trip), and the night we were set to go, we had a bad storm. Go figure.

Oh, yeah! We did see Saving Mr. Banks. It was our date for the year.

Ellen had some good jokes in the monologue, especially the Jennifer Lawrence one about bringing her the Oscar.
