I almost grounded my flight because of my asthma. Thankfully the meds kicked in.

Also, why do weird things happen when I fly? Today it was the plane crash in San Francisco. I also flew on the day when Homeland Security decided to ban liquids. Airport was a total mess that day.

Yeah. So glad I didn't ground my flight; that would have been messy getting home with the San Francisco crash.

A family from New Jersey was supposed to fly out of Hawaii and stop in San Francisco, but their flight got overbooked and the airline reassigned them to a non stop. I bet they're glad now! Just bizarre getting off a plane, looking at my iPod for news, and seeing a picture of a burning plane.

Also saw a burning car on the way home.

I also seem to miss major weather events from being away. Last year I was in Hawaii during the infamous Derecho in MD. Also missed the earthquake, Hurricane Irene (got stuck in WDW. So horrible) a snow storm, tornados. I thought I heard something about bad storms here when I was in DL.

Why people were stopping to watch the burning car instead of getting away from it is beyond me.
