Did I ever tell you about the time that I made a road trip from Vermont to WDW. I was not aware that it was Daytona Race weekend and I arrived at the junction of I-95 and I-4 twenty minutes after the race ended. I cannot tell you how much fun it was taking 3 hours to get to Kissimmee on the I-4 parking lot. It's hard to imagine how that many people that just witnessed a race, could go so slowly on the highway. OK, we can now move along with our regularly scheduled thraed!

Hubby and I went to the NASCAR race in Darlington, SC when we were first dating. On the way out we were sitting in traffic on the one lane road that is the ONLY way back to the interstate. We saw a Wendy's coming up and were hungry so we pulled off, ordered drive through, got our food and LITERALLY pulled back into traffic in the same spot we were. Those NASCAR traffic jams are no joke.

Hubby and I don't even get in to A&F to hear the music, as he is repulsed by the scent/fragrance/odour just walking by. He often has to walk on the other side of the concourse because the smell gives him an instant headache.

He gets queasy in Bath & Body Works and Basin too.
Those I can handle. A&F, not so much.

I've never left a store from the smell but I did put back a pile of clothes and leave without buying them when a store kept playing REM's "What's the Frequency Kenneth" over and over again.

Oh good gravy. I answered the phone and it was a telemarketer and for some reason I was feeling like being a nice person so decided to take her dumb telecommunications survey. It's not her fault her job is annoying to anyone she contacts, so rather than the usual "it's not a good time", I decided to take the survey. 15 minutes later I was a bit annoyed at myself for agreeing, however, she assured me it was just a few more questions. Fine. The whole thing took 17 minutes and 52 seconds and then SHE CALLED BACK for clarification on something. See - this is why I usually hang up.

I use survey data in my work sometimes so I feel bad about saying no to them, but I usually do anyway.

I did agree a few years ago to participate in the Census Bureau's Current Population Survey. That's the one the official unemployment estimates come from. I wonder if they came back to me now whether they would accept "Sageteering" as an occupation.

My husband answered the phone at home once and the telemarketer politely asked if he had a few minutes. He first asked how many calls, approximately, she makes an hour and how many people agree to participate. She said in 3 hours she had one person participate. That's a lot of calls, and a lot of rejection. He took the survey because he felt so bad for her!

I hope she doesn't get paid per completed survey then.

Sometimes survey enumerators get caught making up responses. That's happened even with the U.S. Census.

Someone posted this in a Spirited thread, and I've been marveling at it's beauty for the last 30 minutes.,

The ultimate RCT troll. I LOVE IT. (click link, the little comments are perfection. NSF young or innocent eyes. Profanities abound)

I actually loved the project were it had a fun ride, but ended throwing the bodies full speed to the competitor's park.. so the competitor's park's ratting would plummet, while yours would increase nonstop.
(aka you end killing YOUR customers, throwing them to the competitor's park.. and they get blamed for it)

I really have nothing to add, just wanted to say HI to everyone and I hope your Monday isn't ugly.
so far its so so .

And The Bieb's response

I guess I'm an easy target for some. I'm still human. I will continue to meet hate with love. It's all about the music. Much love

Oh My! The protest was a Radio hoax! :jawdrop:

The people holding signs this morning were all Radio Station Interns. Yep, they got me, but funnier, they got the Bieber and the Bieber staff too.

:joyfull:

And, if they do, will the IRS take rhubarb?

Dig a little deeper, and it was actually probably all started by his staff just to make him look all put upon again and drag up some possible extra sympathy publicity. ;)

@PUSH You're the man on this subject, is there more than one "Bob Saget" member on wdwmagic? (not counting the potato or shark)
I have yet to read up on what this is about, but it's impossible for there to be two Bob Sagets (or two of any user names for that matter) on this site.

There are quite a few Sagetteers - but only one Bob. This may be the weekend to break out the identical Bob avatars, just for kicks.
