I can't get into slopestyle. I think I am too old to consider skiing across rails to be an Olympic event. I'm sure it's hard to do, and I'm sure the competitors are immensely talented athletes - I just don't enjoy watching it. Now skeleton - that's one crazy sport.
Try telling that to my avatar

EDIT- I guess I misprojected where that arrow would be pointing.

If I could get there on time, I'd do it. I consider myself one of the best, if not THE best, amateur Psychologist ever! Bet I could ace that thing.

BTW, love the new quote link feature. It sure makes it easier to be wordy.

Too funny!
Your choice...
Pass - maybe? :p
Or.
Become legendary - for sure!!! :D

have I said lately how much I very strongly dislike this winter ?

I don't think that can be said enough about this winter.

We have now hit 2 feet of snow today. After the first 17 inches, we had a few hours of rain which nicely weighed down the snow and compressed it a bit. The 7 inches tonight may not be totally done yet. (can't wait to see that sentence get mis-quoted).

Must have been a new blower - people are always over-enthusiastic with new power tools.

After the first round, our next door neighbor snow-blowed our driveway while I shoveled the walk and worked on the road some. He was neither excited about a new snowblower or being masculine. To quote him "days like today are golden for retired guys - I've been busy and useful all day!" Well, tomorrow morning there are 7 more inches of snow to make him feel useful!

The only time we've had someone help snow-blow our driveway was a few year ago. He did about a fifth of it before his wife called him back home. And he had just done our other neighbor's driveway before that. And the neighbors he did it for are in their 70s or 80s and are very nice. Not once when you drive by them do they not wave, and whenever we have a garage sale, he comes over and looks around and talks for a bit.

After getting sidetracked there a bit, snowblowing someone else's driveway or sidewalk is one of the friendliest things a neighbor can do IMO.

We have that wet compressed stuff too. I can hear the freezing rain outside. Kids are already on a 2 hour delay. I feel for ya - tomorrow is going to be a messy nightmare.

Oh no, it was recent. Maybe I can find it.

January 13, exactly one month ago.
I do not know how to link back to it on the iPad. (Yeah right, like I could do it on the PC either.)

Hey, I've slept since then! ;)
I remember it, I was just bein' silly. :D Oh, the carnage!!!
Remember. I was the one who said that he'd feel like somethin' wasn't right by leavin' it up 'cause I had been trained so very well?

I like the jumps. Just wish the rail part wasn't part of it. That guy wearing clothes 4 sizes too big with an egg in his pocket is almost a cartoon.
I saw a lot of those cartoons in college. When it gets warm you would see one in every quad with a guitar.

I used to attempt to do rail tricks on a skate board all the time in middle and high school so I always just feel disappointed I could never properly pull them off.
