Well, it didn't go over that well here in NC. What a condescending butt-head. It's OK to wish that everyone can just skip work and still be able to pay their bills, it's another to put them down for doing what they have to do. Nobody, wanted to be out there, but many didn't have the luxury of being Governor and not have to be on the highway. Everyone here just completely overreacts to a little winter weather.

Unless, in the process of laughing at the male gender it didn't occur to anyone that they might have been doing that to help a neighbor. They volunteer their time and help the community. Yes, they have a toy to play with, but they don't have to use it to benefit others. They just do. Not all males are only motivated by there own obsessions.
I would totally use a snowblower to make snow crop circles. :) I used ours once to partially bury a car of someone who p*ssed me off. :joyfull:

You can multi quote within a spoiler. I wonder if you can do a trip countdown too.

Hooray three inches of slush with a puke spattering if snow on top. So much for "no accumulation to under an inch"...my boots will never be pretty again.
The parking lots were full of slush today, and I had to walk through three parking lots worth of it on two separate occasions.

Speaking of parking lots, the university closed off one parking lot so that people could attend the career fair for the past three days. That's all fun and dandy, except when students are paying to park there (including me). Lots are full enough already, and now people who are paying for a parking permit are forced to park far off campus.

If I want to be followed south though so it is going to take some convincing. L.A. she would gladly move to, but that move is too expensive. And I'd like to not job search so I have to go where a partner firm is located. So my choices are limited.

Yea, LA and Bay Area NoCal are nutso cost-of-living-wise. Here, not so much.
But, I gotta' be careful, though. With the way the population is explodin' down 'round these parts, I could end up sleepin' with the catfish for encouragin' more to come here. :cautious:

I can't get into slopestyle. I think I am too old to consider skiing across rails to be an Olympic event. I'm sure it's hard to do, and I'm sure the competitors are immensely talented athletes - I just don't enjoy watching it. Now skeleton - that's one crazy sport.
The pure ridiculousness of the tricks in slopestyle has made it my favorite event so far. I like watching snowboarding, skiing, skateboarding, surfing, etc. in general though.

My favorite winter Olympic event is speed skating. My favorite Olympic event overall is beach volleyball <--- that stuff gets intense.
