Agreed. When my neighbor came over with his 3 sons to help me shovel I was beyond elated. I was out there for an hour and it would have been more like 4 hours without the help.

Well, the federal government closes for everything. I remember when I was on vacation in DC, they closed for the slight possibility of snow. (There was about a quarter inch of snow that day and it didn't even stick to the ground.)

But yeah, today sounds really bad.

I couldn't ride a bike properly until I was almost ten. I used to sit on the seat and run with my feet like the Flintstones.

I remember being in the 2nd grade and was first riding a bike without training wheels. Everyone else had been off of them for a while and I was just getting off them. Talk about a self-esteem killer for a little kid!
