I heading into Chicago with my DD tomorrow. Auto Show. Hoping to have a classic Chicago style hot dog. We have good ones here but not quite the same as the premo places in and bordering Chicago.

Even a bad hotdog is a beautiful thing.
Except for chicken wieners .... That's just not right.

Just got a sad phone call from my aunt. Her son-in-law (my cousin's 51 year husband) has been told by his docs to say his final good-byes.

He has been battling cancer for the past year and a half, but was really hoping to make it until July, for the birth of his first grandchild.

I'm not sure if I can go see him. I've been told that he looks exactly like my dad - bald, snow white beard, and 130 lbs. I saw him last in the summer. That's how I want to remember him.

So sorry. Awful news.

I bought eggs, cheese, and pork roll instead. Its a popular breakfast around here.

They pretended it was for a healthier version but to cover up the awful taste they started dumping gourmet toppings to smother the chicken dog taste.

I just finished watching The Boy in the Striped Pajamas on Netflix. I knew it would end badly, but I didn't know it would end THAT badly. Also, although it is 1 am, that cannot be the last thing I see before going to sleep, When Harry Met Sally is going on.

They pretended it was for a healthier version but to cover up the awful taste they started dumping gourmet toppings to smother the chicken dog taste.

im surprised they didnt go to turkey.. a good turkey brand tastes almost as good as a pork one.. chicken Weiners? no thank you.. way too salty.

So I found it wildly appropriate to wear my (new!) purple leopard print top to celebrate my birthday today. And it's a good call so far, I look like a child masquerading as an adult Ina professional business setting. Will never grow up. Have Mickey socks on too. Take THAT, getting older!

US winning 1-0 in the first period v. Slovakia.
