In Baltimore County it's the law. Driver hits your animal...oh well. Should've had that animal on a leash.

While walking my dog in the spring, on a leash we both got side-swiped by a car turning right while we in the painted crosswalk on the street she was turning onto. People are just stupid.

*shakes head* Twice this week I nearly got hit by trucks coming into my lane and had to lay on the horn. Then I nearly got hit again by someone coming into my lane because people in MD don't understand the concept of "alternate merge". People are so stupid when it comes to operating a motor vehicle. And just plain rude.

What irks me about urban areas is so many drivers accelerate rather than let you merge. Type A's.

I've got friends who live in Towson, which is where Michael Phelps is from and where Elaine from Seinfeld is supposed to be from. They are pretty convinced that it's the place to live in MD. Among other reasons, I consider them to be wrong because people around there drive like idiots. My one friend I can let it slide because she hasn't started driving yet, but the other one? I'm just like "Yup, if you don't mind nearly getting rammed on a daily basis..."
