Sorry about Bestie.

I had dinner there in Nov/12, and lunch in 09/13. Lunch was waaaaaay better.

We were on the dining plan both times, so ordered dessert each time.
I neither loved, nor hated the chocolate cupcake the first time, but the strawberry cream cheese one this year was disgusting!

Glad you're having a good time. More pics and detailed updates, please. Hope it warms up for you tomorrow.
I've been there several times. The food gets better every time. I don't like chocolate, and strawberry is one of my allergies. Lemon is my fav.

I had a really good cupcake at DisneyQuest today. It was vanilla with a blueberry filling and Lime frosting. It was delicious. :hungry: Also, I love cupcakes. I'm happier with a cupcake than I am with large, fancier desserts.

I actually fell on an uneven sidewalk by their pool. Surprisingly they paid my medical bill, comped my resort stay, gave me new refillable mugs (I was carrying them and they broke when I fell), and a new swestshirt because I tore the elbow out of the one I was wearing. Two days after I fell the sidewalk was replaced. All my pictures from that trip look like I am wearing a black tattoo sleeve. Oh and I came back to our room to find some cheap helium balloons and a feel better card from Mickey.
I fell at the CBR pool and scarred both my knees on my first ever trip and apparently acted like I was crippled the rest of the trip (I was like 3 or 4). Where is my mug CBR?

PS- If anyone is wondering what I blocked in the bookmarks bar, it's just links to my school email, bank account, etc. And a website on how to takeover the world as a trash can.
Now why would you block your bank account bookmark? How else are we supposed to be making deposits on your behalf?

Oh never mind, you're a trash can. You encourage deposits of another kind.

Never been for lunch, but, the strip steak I had at dinner there last June was darn damn disappointing. I've had 10x better steaks for $10 at local chain eateries.

That Stitch overlay is also what screwed up the Giants. How can Eli properly throw when some blue alien just burped a chili dog in his face?
Don't kill me...I went on Stitch the other day...and I enjoyed it...it wasn't crowded and I didn't have to stand...Bestie thought it was cute...

The gourmet cupcake fad is fading worldwide.
And the BoG cupcakes are far from gourmet.

Not that I have anything against a decent cupcake, but I'll take a fancier dessert any day of the week.
I mentioned this on another thread, but a French restaurant begs for creme brûlée, pot de creme, Napoleons, crepes, and profiteroles.

Cupcakes are best served in the POP cafeteria. Try the Elvis one.

The shoulder restraints and the fact I smell that burp long after the ride just makes me hate it. Also the part where he rubs his head on you. It feels like I'm being smacked with a deflated balloon.

My cousin's kids had us ride it twice in a row... I asked a CM to sneak me out before the main show the 2nd time.

Lol, it was my first table food actually. My parents had taken me to Maui when I was a baby (actually their last Hawaii trip before 2012, they had gotten some amazing discount they couldn't pass up) and they were at Hard Rock Cafe. I was 9 months old and I suddenly decided I no longer wanted Baby food. I wanted Mom's onion soup. And she gave me the broth. And I got mad because she wouldn't give me the onions at the bottom. :hilarious:

Been the favorite ever since. If there's onion soup, I order. Getting it at France Friday too. :hungry:

Oh my! Oniony, cheesy, bready, salty goodness in a bowl! LOVE that stuff, too! Haven't had it in WAY too long!!!

Fix #1 - hold your hands a couple of inches off your shoulder when the restraint is settling.
Fix #2 - plug your nose for the burp.

When does he rub his head on you? I am not knowing this part.

I've got ice on it. We do have an extra pillow, so I'll try that. It's a matter of me sleeping still. I brought all kinds of painkillers, just got to find the Advil. I'm just concerned because of how swollen it is. I sprained my other one when I was 13 and reinjured it a few times after that and that one never swelled. I can also barely walk on it and can barely move it at all.

The rest part is the problem...if I wake up and it's this bad tomorrow, I'll get a wheelchair. I would hate to have people staring at me, but what choice do I have?

Oh no, so sorry to hear. :(
Hope It gets better, soon! :)

I thought it was supposed to be his ears or something hitting you at one point.

38 with wind sounds delightful right now. That's a spring day here, and there is no exaggeration with that.
It would be delightful in B-more too right now. The pipes in my house froze. My parents can't use their shower and have to use mine, my dad had to put in more insulation and it's still not holding...I think the low is 2 degrees with winds chills of -5 to -15.

Lol, I hold my nose for the burb and lean forward so I can't feel anything. That's hysterical that the CMs let you sneak out.

I'm just as happy with simple desserts. Usually happier. While I can understand why people might want something more for dessert, I'm okay with simplicity. Yesterday Bestie and I split Apple cobbler. The other day when we ate at Boma I came back with a plate of cookies. Oatmeal raisin, my favorite. I've been eyeing those cupcakes in the food court. We were thinking about splitting one. She got worms in dirt yesterday and was so excited. I like the worms part, not so much the dirt. When you don't care for chocolate other than M&Ms and Hot Chocolate and you have food allergies that limit your dessert options many times, you learn to go without and be happy.

We have a quasi-celebrity wife of a hometown hero who insists that all onions be removed from her soup when she is in town. It's kind of a running joke. A local restaurant even posted the following on their outdoor sign:
Hey Janet, we'll take the onions out of your soup.

The onions are the best part, after the melty gooey cheese, of course.
