I have a cold. Stupid weather changes Meg. So I took a cough syrup so I can sleep without waking the house (like I did last night) and then saw a Disney commercial on TV. So I've been shopping online with reckless abandon for things I (for some reason) now think we will need but in the morning will realize we most certainly do not. Oh well - I got free shipping and can return to store so no harm, no foul.

There should be a PSA - friends don't let friends shop online while medicated. o_O

Oooooo pretty! :cat:
I've been here twice before and never brought more than my phone camera. The iPod takes a decent shot now, so I want to go in the other rooms!
Lunch (which is better) or dinner? What did you have?
Are the cupcakes still nasty?
Dinner. I love the lemon cupcake. I can't have two of them and won't eat the sugar free ones or the chocolate ones. The grey stuff is now a pastry. I like their dinner. The shrimp and scallops are delicious. I stopped eating shrimp though about two months ago, so now I'm happy with the French Onion Soup and mussels. I refuse to stand in line for lunch. Bestie loved it, but she has a migraine and is going to bed and didn't really eat.

While I appreciate your playing as my Jets, you should know, they only cause heartache. Your experience with them is not unlike mine.

Hubby just bought Madden today. He plays on xbox. Do you play online? He's always looking to play with people from far-off places. He has "friends" from London he plays Call of Duty with. I'm sure he'd like playing with a trash can.
I don't play online too much. It lags way too much for me.

I need advice. By the way, I fully blame Meg for all of the following.

I was kind of limping today and my left ankle was starting to hurt. Then I looked down at it and it's completely swollen. Bestie looked at it and could tell it was swollen without giving it a close look. I'm debating what to do. Does anyone know any First Aid locations that are open right now? Do you guys think I should ice it, grab a wheelchair so I'm off it tomorrow (Bestie doesn't mind; she's going to school for nursing and I told her this is all practice) and get it checked out at Epcot's first aid tomorrow evening after dinner? Any other suggestions?

Definitely ice it. If you can take Motrin or Advil I would take 2 of either - for the anti-inflammatory. You may even try raising it with a pillow while you sleep.

That would drive me nuts. Good luck with my Jets!! If they win the Super Bowl PLEASE post some photos. It may be the closest I ever get. :(
I'll be sure to do that! Although as it's going right now, I will continue to lose games by a last second score, despite putting up 40 points. Darn Jets. Meg is always messing with you.

Sorry about Bestie.

I had dinner there in Nov/12, and lunch in 09/13. Lunch was waaaaaay better.

We were on the dining plan both times, so ordered dessert each time.
I neither loved, nor hated the chocolate cupcake the first time, but the strawberry cream cheese one this year was disgusting!

Glad you're having a good time. More pics and detailed updates, please. Hope it warms up for you tomorrow.

French onion soup? (excuse the drool rolling my chin)
Lol, it was my first table food actually. My parents had taken me to Maui when I was a baby (actually their last Hawaii trip before 2012, they had gotten some amazing discount they couldn't pass up) and they were at Hard Rock Cafe. I was 9 months old and I suddenly decided I no longer wanted Baby food. I wanted Mom's onion soup. And she gave me the broth. And I got mad because she wouldn't give me the onions at the bottom. :hilarious:

Been the favorite ever since. If there's onion soup, I order. Getting it at France Friday too. :hungry:

I hear Meg likes to disguise herself as a man and coach for them on Sundays. Goes by the name Rex Ryan. I don't know how she gets away with it. I mean even the name she uses sounds fake. Rex Ryan? Who would fall for that?

Definitely sleep with it propped up on a pillow. If you think you need to see a real doctor, the front desk can call CentraCare (it's near DTD) and they will send a free van to transport you to their medcenter. The hours are 8 am-midnight. We did this when I fell at ASSports and dislocated my elbow. They also will bring you back to your resort.

I've got ice on it. We do have an extra pillow, so I'll try that. It's a matter of me sleeping still. I brought all kinds of painkillers, just got to find the Advil. I'm just concerned because of how swollen it is. I sprained my other one when I was 13 and reinjured it a few times after that and that one never swelled. I can also barely walk on it and can barely move it at all.

The rest part is the problem...if I wake up and it's this bad tomorrow, I'll get a wheelchair. I would hate to have people staring at me, but what choice do I have?

If it's still that bad when you wake up, you should probably go right to First Aid or do what @MOXOMUMD said with the place by DTD.

Thanks, think I'll get a wheelchair for tomorrow, have it checked at First Aid tomorrow night if it's bad, and get to the doctor if they think I need it. That's really good to know about that Doctor's center too; we always worry about what to do if we're down here and someone needs to go to the doctor.
