Update on the ankle: putting it on ice reduced the swelling somewhat. I took Advil after that. It has not touches the pain or the swelling. I found out about multiday wheelchair rentals from Disney. Probably going to get it for 2 days for $10 a day, plus I don't think they have you put a deposit on it if it's multiple days, and I think I can take it to the bus, which I need. I hate the attention, especially since I have no brace or anything and no one will be able to tell what's wrong, but you do what you must, and at least I can transfer easily. Going to tough it out tomorrow because I don't want Bestie's day ruined, and then I'll go to Epcot's first aid after dinner while she watches fireworks. If they say I need to see a doctor, I will have a viable reason for going when I explain all this to my parents. If they say stay off it and deal with it at home, I'll keep the wheelchair and deal. My parents know I won't get one unless I'm really hurt, not when I'm spending my money. Thanks for the hell. Going to deal with it tomorrow. Night everyone!

I have a cold. Stupid weather changes Meg. So I took a cough syrup so I can sleep without waking the house (like I did last night) and then saw a Disney commercial on TV. So I've been shopping online with reckless abandon for things I (for some reason) now think we will need but in the morning will realize we most certainly do not. Oh well - I got free shipping and can return to store so no harm, no foul.

Yup, that's what we call them. I'll look in the gift shop for one. The swelling has gone way down; it's still swollen; just hurts horribly. I probably just sprained it, but I will get first aid to look at it.

It's amazing what a good nights sleep can do. I feel SO buch better. And have determined that my son REALLY DOES need new sneakers and everyone in my family REALLY DOES need a new pair of flip flips for our trips down to the pool.
