When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Hubby calls me beautiful all the time.
When he's being more intimate, however, he subconsciously calls me pretty.
Over 28 years together, pretty means so much more than beautiful. He's never aware of the different endearments unless I point it out.
Now when we watch tv or movies together, and some guy calls his wife "beautiful", hubby always makes a "pretty" comment.
Just wondering if I was nuts ....

When you are working all night like me...it's a great thing! I have to do all the end of year stuff getting the servers ready for close out on Weds...I'll be up for several more hours. <grin>

Trying to catch up here...
1.) How was the chili? For future reference, chili is much better when cooked, chilled, then reheated. It brings out the spices more that way (an old trick I learned from a cowboy actually)
2.) "Beautiful" to means the whole deal - not just the physical part, but who you are inside. "Pretty" is just that - how you look. I'm not pretty (see avatar), but I have my moments where I can be beautiful. I much prefer that.
3.) A phone call with no one there but beeping? Maybe a wrong fax number?
4.) Threads used to be limited to 10,000 posts, so it's probably not fair to claim the longest thread without a clarification I suppose.
