write a note to Disney mentioning a specific cast member? We had a girl named Sarah on the Jungle Cruise that was FANTASTIC! She made the ride. That ride is in need of some serious updating btw, but my husband and I thought she made it really great with her enthusiastic. We have been on it quite a few times and the CM's always seem bored and just doing their spiel...Anyway, wanted to write a note to the exec's at Disney and just point her out!

NOt entirely sure. In the future, see if you can get a hold of that person's manager and let them know how great your experince was. That can go a long way for a CM.

Sorry not much help I know.

yes her name is sarah

and she was from either Pittsburgh, PA or Philadelphia! She did a great job! We were so impressed! She made the ride. I wrote to customer service and hope she gets recognized!

We just got back a couple of weeks ago, and we also had a Skipper named Sarah. She was hilarious! Wonder if it was the same one?

FYI,

DON'T stop at guest relations and leave a note. Does nothing for the cast member.
If you go to Guest Relations,
DO ask for a GSF card (great service fanatic) and fill it out
...or even better,
DO write to guest communications

If you don't know the name of the cast member (ahemcharactersahem) include the day, date, time, place of the encounter. They can look it up.

I can't tell you what these mean to cast members. It goes on their offical records. And in the case of a letter to Guest Communications, sometimes it means a pin and a note from Erin.

Thanks for the support.

Jungle Cruise is one of those rides that a CM can make or break. When we rode it last week we had a particularly unenthusiastic driver who did nothing but resort to corny jokes and puns. He did let a kid "drive" for a while though, which I thought was nice.

I'm sorry to hear that. Do you remember what his name was?

And we're supposed to do the kid driver every ride. I personally choose not to because it ruins the flow of my cruise.

I'm sorry I don't remember the name, he said it at the start but of course then I didn't have a reason to remember it. Ironic thing I do remember though, was he said (paraphrasing) "...welcome to the Jungle Cruise. I'm <name1>, if I do a horrible job I'm <name2>" lol.

Wasn't so much the corny jokes and such, just the fact that it takes away from the immersion if the driver doesn't take it seriously. I might be more perturbed if I had a kid or something, but it was just me and the wife, and we are quite laid back.
