I understand. You go on this wonderful vacation and it's warm and you don't have to worry about a thing and then you come home and life wakes you up with a slap in the face. I leave in 20 days and I can't get excited because I'm just too concerned about the flight. I hate flying anymore. Once I'm there I'll be fine. I had just said to my bestfriend "do you ever wish you never went to WDW, that way we wouldn't know what we're missing?" We both agreed...NO!!

Interesting how there are no votes for Live in FL, go less than once a year. I guess it's 'cause us Florida folk are lucky. :sohappy: :sohappy:

I know what you mean about the flight. I was never worried before but have not flown since 911. My wife wants me to go to get something from the doctor because I am so worried about it. But I need to do it, I can't not fly anymore.

We leave on the 30th, so it is coming quick.

I imagine there are quite a few of us FL's...

Just haven't posted yet!

I know of a lot on these boards who are local, if not CM's!

Me? 3-4 times a month.
(1.5 hr drive)

I'll go just to see the fireworks at night!

Very nice night-cap!

You people and your cold states. I live in Maine where its cold 6 months of the year. I dont even go in the ocean unless I hit the Florida border. It is currently 2 below as I am posting this. I went every 2 years as a kid for about a 12 year time frame and didnt get to go as an adult until 2002. Now I have the bug again and want to go more. Our budget doesnt allow it though so we are trying to plan big trips for the future. 10 nights in 2005 is the one we are planning now. Also probably gonna try and do a trip with a bunch of friends when all of our kids are old enough in 2009. Wish I could be there right now.:brick:

New Jersey here, southern shore area, Cape May County.

We try to get there at least once each year but have three trips planned for 2004. :sohappy:

As for the cold here, I hate it. It's like 15 degrees out right now and wind is whipping. The family and I have discussed moving to Florida perminently but the fact of the matter is that I can't make enough money there as a teacher.:(

Hi, Rodrigo!!! I knew I would find you here...:)

I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, close to MKCustodial!:) It REALLY sucks being so far away from WDW, about 8 hours in an airplane to get there...:fork: I try really hard to go to wdw once a year, I save money the whole year, and so... As soon as I get a job, I will start saving for this year's trip (December!!!), it will be my tenth time, my sister's 15th birthday, and my baby's first time at WDW!!! I just can't wait!!!:sohappy:

I'm from Connecticut.

And although my family is DVC Members, we usually visit WDW every other year. My parents like to use the time share to visit other places. Even though we love Disney, they also enjoy visiting nature places (i.e., the grand canyon, yosemite, yellow stone, etc.). And DVC allows them to do that with great ease. I personally would rather visit Disney excessively.

Of course, on the 21st, I'll be at WDW for the CP. I'll be working there for the next 7 months.

I live in New Albany Indiana near Ceaser's River Baot Casino on the Ohio River across from Louisville Ky.

Travel to Orlando 4 to 5 times a year to visit Disney.
