When will the Indiana Jones Stunt Show finally end?

Harry, the Indy coaster in DLRP is not overly popular. It attracts long lines, sure. But it gets slated by those who ride it after.
It is bumpy, uncomfortable and fast. One time we rode it my friend had to go to First Aid because her earring got ripped out. She was pouring with blood.
It's like having the retraints from SGE over you on a coaster that is faster than BTM but does a loop.
Not nice!

As for the Indy show... I have seen it twice, and have no desire to see it again.
DLCA's ride is awesome and far superior to the show, the DLP ride or Dinosaur (tho I do like Dinosaur in any case).

Of course, there are worse things Disney could do... Do I even need to mention the pending Kareoke Idol?...

I'm at the stage where I've enjoyed the disney attractions on my previous pre-fatherhood visits & now look forward to enjoying my kids enjoying the same attractions. Indy stunt comes under that banner, I know they will love it (just over 5 weeks till we go to WDW & they can't stop singing the indy tune, I've got them well primed :)). So update it but don't dump it, it's a classic attraction for that park as far as I'm concerned.

For me the classics never lose their appeal for various reasons - I remember being gutted when I realised 20K leagues was shut forever (a few moons ago now), it was old, kinda cheesy but I liked it, especially seeing kids thinking they were diving for real , sorry a wee bit ot but I miss that ride even more now cause my kids will never experience it - more to the point I'll not get to see their little faces thinking they are diving for real in a sub :(.

Believe me it isn't great. The best part of the theme is in the que but the ride its self is nothing more than a basic one loop coaster you would get in any cheap amusement park. It does attempt to theme by having the track go around some tacky ruins.

DLP should do something with this way before DHS do something with the Indy Stunt Show.

I think WDW willl change this since they have the Stunt Specatacular show. No sense on having two stunt shows. I definitely think they need to keep the Indiana Jones theme in this new attraction.

I think that's a little unfair. I was critisising the actual ride experience, not the theming. I disagree here. DLP is by no stretch a cheap amusement park, nor any of it's attractions. They spent so much on the park it almost bankrupted them. It has been reknowned for its artistry and theming compared to the other parks, world over.
Improvements can be made for sure, but Indy is not cheap and tacky.

If we're gonna talk cheap and tacky, what about JII, Country Bears, and the new Kareoke Idol at WDW?...

Guys, remember the Indy coaster at DLP was a quick-fix off the shelf (but WDI themed) ride bought in the winter of 1992 since the park was so popular it needed more for the summer of `93.

And yes, it is a killer. Not as bad as SM:M2 though.

Bad purchase then, must have been a sale item.

We went to WDW last year. It was the first time for my kids. The Indy Stunt show was their absolute favorite thing at Disney. It really suprised me that that would be their favorite. They also thought the Hawaiian shirt guy was just another audience member doing the stunts so that really impressed them. It is a good show and I enjoy seeing it each time we go. I hope they don't take it away anytime soon. We tried to see it a second time, but it was full. I don't think they should take it away when it consistently brings in full crowds.
