Beware of the Snuggie!!!
It was just on the news today, here in Pittsburgh, that some guy ordered one by phone, and has ended up costing him $270 and still climbing. The order service he bought it from keeps enrolling him in these shopper's services and such, thus inflating his bill.

Ahhh Snuggies.. I remember seeing the advert for them last time I was in Florida. I think they look handy, but would anyone really wear it outdoors? You look like a Priest haha.
They've become quite the Youtube phenomenon with people messing about with the adverts and things e.g ''The Cult Of Snuggie'' :lol:
I did however show my boyfriend the ad and he now is determined to buy one as he thinks they look amazing, he's a strange boy

I wouldn't be caught dead in one, but DW loves hers. My son plays HS football- He told her if she ever showed up wearing one at his games he would disown her.
We'll see if her attitude changes this winter. She's reached a point in her life where she has the air conditioning is set at 68 degrees and she still bursts into rooms claiming "I'm going to combust!" Could be an interesting few months.

I saw some at the local Walgreens tonight of College teams,and in K-marts ad this weekend it says NFL ones are available. It was only a matter of time.:fork:

I personally think that the Snuggie for dogs is adorable!

If my dogs heard that comment come out of my mouth, I had a feeling there would be several "surprises" around the house shortly thereafter.

they use to have something similar many years ago. But you stepped into it like a sleeping bag, but it had snaps up the front instead of a zipper on the side. Then you could snap the sleeves to be over your arms or just snap up the front like a sleeping bag.
My husband laughs at the commercial: You can even hold your baby while wearing it, but he says, if your cold the baby probably is too and you aren't sharing your covers with the baby. Interesting concept, but think I would rather just wear a sweater and put a blanket where I want it to be.
