Impressive!!!! That is definitely something to strive for. You are going to end up with a boatload of nice looking hardware...

I have several things in mind but haven't registered yet. My fiance insists that I am going to put us in the poorhouse with all the races I want to enter.

Here's the list I plan to narrow down from..
-Feed 10 for 10 - 10k Sunday September 23rd. West Side of Manhattan
-Rock n' Roll - 10k. Saturday October 13. Prospect Park, Brooklyn.
-Grete's Great Gallop - Half Sunday October 14. Central Park, they changed the date AND the start time to 10:30a I really wanted to do this one but I will have to pick between RnR and this.
-Niagara Falls International - Half Sunday October 21- would love to do the full as you run in two countries! But the half might be very likely.
-Philly Half Marathon - Sunday November 18.

I really want to get a half in before the WDW marathon in January but things really slow down here race-wise in NYC leading up to THE marathon. I have a mental bucket list that involves running a half before I turn 30 that seems very possible...

Sept 8 - either a 10k or a 10 mile in MD
Sept 23 - mud run
Sept 29 - ToT 10 miler! :)
Oct - Zombie Run (Don't know the date, or if actually doing yet but planning on it).
Dec 2 - half marathon at one of the beaches

Maybe a Turkey Trot or something to throw in in November... and all a while training (hopefully) for the full in January, and (definitely) the Princess half in February.

Dude, every trip, I order two orders of Tonga, and we always stay at Poly, so we go multiple times to Capt Cook and Kona Cafe. It's the only time I eat fried food, and running ultra-distance, I can afford to gobble down two orders...and the rest of my wife's macadamia nut pancakes :D
Just to clarify here, are we talking two orders per trip, or two orders at one time? LOL

Just out of curiosity, how many people register for the Goofy Challenge? Does anyone know?

(And I've still got that Hershey Half in the back of my mind for October if we can swing it - partly because I really want to check out the Chocolate Aid station, but mostly because I really want to run it with some of the women on this board!)

Haven't done any of the Princess or obstacle courses. Not so sure about the Goofy. 2014 maybe? If the international parks start having runs I'm in big trouble! Tokyo and London marathons are on the bucket list.

Looks like we have a similar schedule :)

Disneyland Half
ToT 10 miler
Wine & Dine
Toys for Tots 10k
WDW Goofy

There's a possibility for another 10k in there. I'd only run it to try and move up in corrals for Goofy. So, it would be a goal PR race.

I'd be a little bit concerned doing the Mud Run the weekend before the TOT. I know more people that have gotten injured during those types of events. It's so easy to slip and twist something. (Sorry, yet again the mothering instinct in me takes over)

Lol! You sound like my husband! Before the one I just did, he kept telling me.."I don't think this is a good idea, what if you get hurt, I don't condone this, etc, but yes, I will come watch and hold your stuff." Blah, blah, blah :). I came out fine except with some majorly scratched up knees (that he was afraid I would get some flesh-eating bacterial disease). What can I say, I am a rebel! Although, I have seen and heard about lots of people getting hurt. Not sure I would do one that close to a major race either!

I've read about that race! Sounds cool in concept, but I can't imagine actually trying to win by scarfing down a whole box that fast and racing back to the start on a full stomach! On the other hand, as a leisurely racer not out for a PR, I can definitely see the Pros of getting a free box of Krispy Kreme donuts in the middle of a race, even if I carry some of them home! LOL

I don't think I could race back at a leisurely pace after eating a whole box of donuts without hurling! I don't think I could even walk! I would definitely try to carry some home though!

I think it's around 7,500 now. Give or take a bit. Used to be capped at like 3k, thats when it would sell out in a month.

Have a 5k tonight
DLR 1/2
Local 1/2
Few turkey trots/Toys for Tots type 5ks
Local 1/2
Goofy

Had been planning on throwing another 5-6 1/2s in there, but the rehab has been going much much slower than anticpated.
