I miss the buttons. Now its all about pins. The buttons were awesome, you could get one from every land they were huge and honestly cheap.

I also get my hair wrapped at Animal Kingdom. I save those, and have been collecting those for a while now. They are kind of like my Disney graduation tassels.

Anybody remember these? Unfortunately I only have these two.

Pins. Used to get a few Vinylmation until they changed the mold. Books. Soundtracks. One "pricey" item unique to that particular trip -- a Pandora charm, small piece of art, a watch, glassware. And always try to hunt down something with a favorite character.

Resort maps, WDW pens, resort refillable mugs, Magic Bands-basically everything that comes with our trip or is free to take in our room. I do usually buy at least one thing in the parks-I've gotten a couple of t-shirts, and last year at Memento Mori I bought a book about the history of each Haunted Mansion ride. I could see myself starting a tradition of buying a Disney/WDW history book every time I visit.

Yes
I always try to get a pin with the year on it, and the last few times I've been I've gotten sketches from the Art of Disney stores.

The past trip or two I got a mug, but I always tend to have fun with pin trading. (I especially like it at Wilderness Lodge because it's a laid back environment and I've gotten some great pins there. A couple of them had broken pins/backs on them - which is a rule they clearly state should not happen - but it doesn't bother me since those backs can be so easily replaced). I enjoy so many Disney souvenirs, but they're so overpriced that usually I just have fun browsing the shops. Even when I don't buy anything I LOVE looking through the shops.

Just came home from our trip with many items again. A variety of pins, mugs, figurines, Banshees, and much more. So glad I had a lot of gift cards and cash set aside to splurge on myself. This was the one thing I just had to have when I saw it:

A very outstanding item found in the shop on Main Street that is now sitting in a prominent place in my living room. Looks fantastic lit up in the dark.

I always momentarily want to get the cute plush animals of characters like Bambi, Dumbo, Marie, and the Pooh characters, but I have no idea what I'd do with one if I actually got it.
