What's your favorite place in the world?

I assume most of you are like me and can't pin point just one place in all of WDW that is your favorite. It's impossible! So let's list two or three of our favorite places that we enjoy just soaking in the atmosphere or somewhere that defines our Disney experience. It could be ANYWHERE; a land in a theme park, the queue of an attraction, a section of a resort, a favorite bench, etc...

Mine would have to be the Great Ceremonial House at the Poly, Tomorrowland, and LBV Golf Course!

While this sounds cliche -- my favorite part of Disneyworld is the benches in between the art shop on Main Street USA right after the parade and final works. It is so nice to see everyone leave and watching the street empty out. I like being one of the last people leaving the park. I can sit for hours there

The benches of the main hub of Magic Kingdom.

Any of the benches in the World Showcase.

The lobby of the hotel I am staying at in the early morning, drinking my coffee, reading my USA today and talking with castmembers.

Without a doubt walking around the Caribbean Beach Resort Promenade. It is so quiet, the landscaping is beautiful-- or even in Old Port Royal with the upbeat Caribbean Music.

Love being in line for the Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion

Places I love

I always love seeing the entrance to the Magic Kingdom, before I get into the park. When I went a couple years ago with my parents, we didn't get to MK until it was dark so the train station was all lit up and it hit me that we were really there. My dad loves telling the story of how I literally gasped at the sight.

I love being on the TTA in Tomorrowland and getting to relax and see the park from a different view.

And I love being on Soarin', right before the screen lights up and the music is just starting.

One of my favorite experiences was during the old E-ride night (basically evening EMH that you had to pay for, so it was more intimate). My sister and I rode TTA for about an hour, talking to the guests on the ground below us and relaxing after a LONG day.

My favorite place at Epcot would be by the Torii Gates in Japan at night looking back across the lake and seeing everything lit up.

At the MK it would have to be in Tommorowland.

I love sitting next to the fountain located in the France Pavillion.

I also love sitting on a bench at the intersection of Liberty Square and Frontierland faceing the Liberty Bell.

And then finally, the my third favorite place to simply sit and soak up the Disney Magic is the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge.

I do have to say that I can't really think of any place on Disney property that I would ever object to hanging out at, but if I get to choose, then I am going with any of the above.

Just as said before several places, for me anywhere where I can sit and people watch, so many languages, accents, and the lost souls wandering about, of the same people who are there for the first time. Sitting by enjoying a dolewhip, and seeing someone who is having one for the first time, watching their faces as the joy of the taste hits them.

Great thread!

The beach at the Polynesian, especially watching the fireworks.
Wandering the streets in Frontierland. (The music and theming are great!)
The Emporium. (Mom and I just walk in a smell it.)

You're right, it is tough to pinpoint specific locations! A few of my happy spots are:

Strolling along World Showcase
Hopping off the Monorail at the Entrance to MK
Friendship Boat ride between WL and Fort Wilderness

Ooooo, good one! I love the low, quiet, eerie music that beckons you along the low-lit corridors of PotC. You can't ever quite tell where the line will stop you, and I never remember when it gets to the boats so it always feels mysterious. I also am one of those crazy people that loves the smell of the water.
