24 hours ago I was in Star Wars Land just before an Australian woman started cursing out the fireworks, and wait times tonight seem to be about the same as last night.

Matterhorn Bobsleds is currently "Temporarily Closed" for a breakdown, but just before the fireworks start at 9:30....

Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mt., Thunder Mountain, Small World, Grizzly River Run - 5 Minutes
Star Tours, Submarines, Incredicoaster - 10 Minutes
Indiana Jones Adventure - 15 Minutes
Hyperspace Mountain, Soarin' Over California - 20 Minutes
Guardians of the Galaxy - 25 Minutes
Millennium Falcon - 45 Minutes (Lies! It was posted at 35 minutes last night at this time, and it barely took 15 minutes in line)
Radiator Springs Racers - 50 Minutes (Probably not a lie for that excellent ride)

Smuggler’s Run and Midway Mania are both at 45 minutes, highest in the resort. While Radiator Springs Racers is 20 minutes 🤔

I'm looking at the wait time now and with the exception of SR and HSM everything else (in DL since DCA is closed) has gotten shorter. Its insane. My god, if we ONLY knew lol. Watch I go Sunday and everything will be an hour wait. ;)

Disneyland is open until Midnight nightly through late August, but if these type of wait times keep up there's no need for that.

They should probably be closing at 10pm or 11pm this summer if it stays like this at 11pm (realizing that a "5 Minute" wait is really a walk-on with empty vehicles going out as people wander in to empty loading areas)....

Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Splash Mt., Star Tours, Small World, Haunted Mansion, Submarines - 5 Minutes
Hyperspace Mt., Matterhorn Bobsleds, Thunder Mt., Indiana Jones Adventure - 10 Minutes
Millennium Falcon: Target Run - 30 Minutes (Lies! It said 30 minutes last night at this time and it only took me 5 minutes)

Everything else in Disneyland is 5 minutes, except Peter Pan that is 25 minutes and Autopia that is 10 minutes because they probably closed half the freeways already this late at night. Eat your heart out CalTrans!

I really like this observation from Robert Niles at Theme Park Insider (and this is from February):

Imagine visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter without Harry Potter, and instead of visiting Hogwarts, you ended up in some other wizarding high school's castle that you'd never heard of before. That's Galaxy's Edge.

Bingo.

When are you getting these wait times? In the morning? I usually look throughout each afternoon, and 30 minutes for popular attractions is very common. Quite comfortable and reasonable when considering the amount paid by guests. Let us not forget we complained about overcrowding for years. I feel to be on some quest to change the narrative going on.

It's 10:40 and the park's looking busier now at this time than the previous days. Half hour waits for the big rides and an hour for Falcon. Is this the end of the peaceful park?

Splash is 10, Pirates 10, Haunted 13, Space 30, Matterhorn 30... Millennium Falcon 45!?

I thought the crowds were supposed to be monstrous, even with the SWGE reservation program.

What’s the downside again?
I'm amazed - really surprised at how well its working, with its intended (and probably unintended) results.

Maybe the demand isn’t nearly as high as most of us here in the bubble assumed it would be??

...don’t worry though, the Florida crowd will prove TWDC’s faith in the customers stupidity valid once again...
