Stay on the boards, look at my pictures, play the video my sister made, listen to my Wishes & Illuminations cds.........I can always escape NC and be in WDW if I try hard enough!

I have several blankets from my December 07 trip. The winter Mickey blankets that you could purchase if you spend $50.00. It is now June and I will not put the blankets away. Light enough on a cool evening and it helps me remember my last trip. In fact I will be bringing one with me on my July trip in 12 days. I love my Mickey winter blanket!!!!

This week I put 17 Disney albums on my new MP3 player and catalogued them by specific park and area such as Fantasyland, EPCOT, etc. It brought back so many memories....

Well, when I finish crying my eyes out that I am not there, I listen to the CDs or watch Disney Channel, the films, come on here and talk to all you nice, fine folks, look at pictures, and save money and plan for my next trip.

When I am missing WDW I like to curl up with a nice cup of tea and have a night in watching my Disney DVD’s. That always makes me feel better, oh and planning my next visit.:D

Now that its summer I will sit on my deck and have a drink while listening to music from the Magic Kingdom. I close my eyes and I can picture myself there.

Lately on my Fridays off, my sister and I get together and talk WDW. We spend a little time talking about our favorite memories, what we like to do the most, where we'd stay and what we'd do if money were no object, that sort of thing. It has even gotten to the point where my 3-year-old niece will say, "let's talk about Disney World."

Also, thanks to MouseBits, I have a nice collection of park and resort music. I had to get a bigger iPod...

I have something Disney in all of the rooms in the house. I start the day checking the countdown clock. Also will listen to the CDs and watch the Travel channel shows that are on the DVR. Then go to the boards and see what is new there. The anticipation of going back is part of the fun!

I usually just talk about it, listen to music or come here. My family is all into Disney, so that helps a lot. Our latest way to bring the magic home was to redesign our bathroom to model a Disney Hotel in a way. Soft green paint, vintage 1930's Mickey cartoon shorts posters, original sketches, Disney-esque towels, and the like.

DH put park music on a flash drive for me. My favorite being the MK loop which is 92 minutes long. I listen to it at the office. I also bring home napkins each trip...you know, the extra ones that you stuff into your bag or pocket because you just can't get yourself to throw them away. I take them to work with me and use them there. I have a very stressful job and it seems to help to wisk me away in my mind back to my favorite place.

We also have a bit of Disney in each room of the house. Our home office is 100% Disney and every other room has a hint of Disney.

These boards though are the best way to take me back there. I really like the sharing that goes on here.

What do I do to bring the magic to my home? I watch Disney movies, the specials that have recently been on travel channel, the Disney channel, or even the planning DVD so I can see the resorts.

I do have a few decorative Disney items around the house, too and that always brings me back. We are going in 64 days, but after that it will be a few years so I will certainly rely on those little things to give me some magic.:)
