What's The Longest Stretch You Have Gone From Visiting Disney World?

My last visit when I was growing up was 1985, I was 14. I took my kids for the first time in 2008!

My longest gap was only two years, from 2003 to 2005.

November 2000 to April 2005...just under four-and-a-half years.

Since 1976, about five years. 1990-1994. I was about sixteen so Disney was not on my mind at that time.

14 years and 3 months -- August 1993 and October 2007.

Life kind of gets in the way. Final year of college, the off to Alaska for four years serving in Uncle Sam's Air Force, then well, you know ... life.

Since 2007, three consecutive trips, last being in December 2009.

I did have the chance to visit Anaheim for a day at Disneyland, about a year or so before California Adventure opened.

Okay, are you ready -- 24 years. February 1980 to December 2004. Way, way, way too long. DH never wanted to go, having never had the experience as a child but he promised if we ever got to FL we would go. Well, three days was all it took to convince him, we're now AP holders and life is good.

Between 2001 and 2009 was my longest "break" from the World. Not that it was my choice mind you, but look at my signature to understand.

My first trip to WDW was in 2006...my next trip was a year-and-a-half later, and since then its been a few months in-between trips.

Disneyland, on the other hand...22 years.

That's the same thing with me. From 1980 to 2003 I never been to WDW. I always pined to go to WDW until my first visit (which was our honeymoon). So, for me, it would be twenty-three years.

Six years from 2000-2006. My dad was "Disneyed out" and there was a ton of stuff going on with college and so forth that made it tough for another family trip. Though I did manage to stop by Disneyland Paris for a day while abroad in 2005. That definitely helped especially since we hadn't planned our 2006 trip yet and I didn't know when I'd get back to WDW. Now that I'm on my own I hope to go at least every couple years, assuming I can find others willing to join me.

2000 went on a college budget. Stayed off property at Racoon Lake (no longer there) with now wife/girlfriend at the time. Her first visit, my 10thish.

2006 Our return after way too long. Second visit.

2007 I went solo

2010 We will return in September. Her third visit now with our 2 year old.

My longest stretch has been 4 years. Went in 2002 and then didnt go back until 2006. Up until then I know I had gona at least once a year since 1985. Now that I am married and have a family of my own I want to start a tradition where we travel to WDW at least once a year

9 years from July 2000 to August of last year. Since then I went back first week of April and leaving to go back again tomorrow :sohappy:
