MK rope droppers here, though this year we arrived on Sunday afternoon and hit Typhoon Lagoon to rest for a 15 hour marathon at MK Monday (they extended hours Mon night due to rain Sunday). Have a great trip!

For us it completely depends on what resort we are staying at. We like to check in and either give our bags to the concierge or put them in the room if possible. Then go to lunch somewhere and straight to the park closest to the resort. For some fortunate reason, we tend to arrive on days that the MK has EMH at night, so we usually hit it up in the evening.

I have always gone to MK as soon as I can after I arrive, but I think my next WDW vacation will be different. We might stroll around the resorts and definitely make a dinner reservation somewhere great. We might stroll the Boardwalk and get some Beaches and Cream! Then get some much needed sleep. I don't sleep well when I am on vacation, either, so I always plan a day where there is nothing grand planned, just relaxation.

Magic Kingdom is our choice! We arrive around 2PM, unpack, rest for one hour than hop on the bus to MK. I can only feel like home after I have my first glimpse of the Castle and have a Mickey Ice Cream.

We arrive in 10 days...can't wait! We are going 8 days but our first day we plan on checking out the resorts, DTD and relaxing and will hit the parks early the next morning.

On all of our trips we hit the parks right away, either MK or Epcot. This year we decided to do something different. We're planning to arrive somewhere around noon, hit Fantasia Gardens before dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse and then maybe head to Jellyrolls since I've been wanting to do that the last three trips. We figure this will allow us to be all rested up for Park Day 1 at Epcot.

Jellyrolls:) I have staggered out of there a few times!

Depends on when you get there tbh. If you get there earlier in the day, Magic Kingdom is always a fantastic way to begin the trip. If you get there later, Downtown Disney or explore the hotel.

In the past, we have stayed at the hotel on arrival day or have gone to DTD. But, this trip, we're checking in, dropping our bags and hopping on the boat to MK! We've got a pool at home now, so no need to waste time swimming - get on over to MK!!
