Trip Report What's going on with my clothes??

The title.

It's what I've been having the hardest time with for the last week or so. I'm not totally sold on it but I must say that it did make for a lot of laughs(at my expense of course). When I think about how much energy I've channeled to coming up with something, especially when that energy could have been put to better use( like at work or something), I decided to stick with this & move forward. Otherwise, this TR would never get started. Anyways, welcome to my very first trip report!! I'm happy with myself for finally doing one & I'm more than excited to relive our adventures & share them with you fine people!!
So, let me start by getting the introductions out of the way......

WHEN: June 18th-25th *C,D,E & A's plans were a little different than ours. They were there 6/21-7/7*

A few years ago, we asked Rapunzel if she could record a video message to our niece, who was about 6 at the time and totally in love with Rapunzel. We couldn't believe how well the CM did. We sent the video to her mother and I think it made that girls year LOL. She watched it constantly and was shocked that Rapunzel knew who she was. And what we did later, was get a picture of just Rapunzel by herself, a CM loved the idea and printed it then had it signed, and we put it into a princess WDW frame to mail to her. So our niece was surprised that she also got a gift direct from Rapunzel :) Her mom said she kept it by her bed for a couple of years lol. I have to say that was one of my better ideas :)

I never noticed the leaves on the light fixtures before. They're pretty cool!!
IMG_3418.jpeg

Gotta love that bread!!
IMG_3419.jpeg

I went with the Filet Mignon. It was so good the last time I had it so why rock the boat & get something different?
IMG_3421.jpeg

J's plate. I'm pretty sure A got the same thing.
IMG_3422.jpeg

I didn't want to creep on everyone's food but C was so I snapped a picture of hers even though I don't know what it was that she had.
IMG_3423.jpeg

R wasn't in the mood for a steak so he went with the salmon. He loved it!! I tried a piece of it and it was excellent!!
IMG_3424.jpeg

Time for dessert!!
IMG_3425.jpeg

I had the Maple Creme Brulee. I'm not a fan of maple anything so I really don't know what possessed me to get this. Needless to say I didn't care for it all that much. Oh well, at least I tried it!!
IMG_3427.jpeg

D got the Maple Chocolate Yukon Bar.
IMG_3428.jpeg

A had ice cream.

What to do while in Rose & Crown with about 500 other people seeking shelter from the storm(besides drink beer)? Our family decides to recreate a picture that the four of us took in this same spot back in 2012. You should have seen how hard it was for us all to remember who was standing where for it.

We hung out in Rose & Crown for about an hour until it was time for our dinner reservation. It was still raining but fortunately we didn't have far to go. At least C was prepared with her raincoat.

Stalking your shirts again....I know we’re both Pittsburgh people but I can’t help but notice R's Vegas shirt....dare I guess it matches the Fleury shirt that hangs in my closet as well?? 🤔

I'm still bummed we don't have Fleury anymore--what a classy guy!!

I believe R bought that shirt as soon as he was traded.

After our meal we headed out but didn't get far. E(sister) must have looked like a super friendly person b/c quite a few groups of people asked her to take their pictures in front of the gardens in Canada.

Couldn't get a picture earlier due to the rain so I grabbed one now.

We made it to see The British Revolution. Thank goodness or I never would have heard the end of it. R loves this show. The guys are pretty good.

A & J were showing off their dance moves.

We had the kids get their picture taken with the band.

We continued walking around World Showcase. Fortunately, J didn't lose his shoe this time!

J looks so excited on Soarin’! I can’t wait til my little fella is big enough to ride it.

I love Belle’s new look! That dress is gorgeous. Time for a new picture with her.

I agree with you and @Tuvalu about ketchup, it is nasty! But Maple?? 😮I adore anything Maple. I don’t like sweets that much at all unless pineapple or Maple are involved!! I always get the creme brûlée when we go to Le Cellier. The last time we went, service was terrible. That was 2015 though, and I think a fluke, because it had always been so good before.

And the carriage ride! That looks amazing. We had horses for years. I miss them so much. Definitely going to push the Hubby to try this resort soon.

Sorry to start this post with a picture of this nature.

We were walking through Germany & I noticed this poor worm on the ground who looked like he had recently been run over by something. I knew he probably wasn't going to make it but I would rather see him spend his final moments in the dirt than on the concrete. R grabbed me a stick & I put him in the dirt in a flower bed area. The kids named him Fred. I told E & A I wanted them to check on him on their next Epcot day. They assured me they would. When they got home I asked them how Fred was & they asked me "Fred who?". How quickly they forgot about poor Fred but it was probably for the best since I'm sure he probably didn't survive.

Fred in his final resting place.

Just a picture. I didn't make it to China this trip.
IMG_3445.jpeg

We couldn't walk by Mexico without looking for Donald!!

E looks tired....

We stopped for some PP photos on the way out. I say some but he literally only took one. I found that to be a bit odd.
At least it was a nice photo!!

Another adorable towel creation!!

Say it isn't so....
IMG_3457.jpeg

What a sweet note!! And I'm sure you all know that I loved my stay there indeed!!

Depression set in as it hit me hard that tomorrow at this time I would be back in Pittsburgh(or would I).....
On that note a final trip to Muddy Rivers was in order.

He enjoyed it & I'm glad he got to go on since they said he was too short a few days before.

Belle was very pretty & sweet!!

Wow--I'm starting to feel better about myself. Everyone I know thinks I'm crazy b/c I don't like ketchup. It's nice to meet so many people that are in my camp!! Too bad about the service at Le Cellier. You can have the best food but bad service can totally ruin a meal.

The carriage ride is very nice. Our family has one horse(our other one had to be put down last year). I don't get too involved with him b/c he is quite big & I'm intimidated by him. Give it a try--it's beautiful!!

You and me both! We went to his first game back in Pittsburgh and I started tearing up when I saw him in their jersey! Totally ugly cried when they did the tribute to him!
That’s neat that you got to go. I know that those tickets were in high demand for that game. I saw the tribute on tv & I was bawling. If I remember correctly I believe Fleury was tearing up also! That was so emotional but a very well deserved tribute.

What a great last day! Le Cellier looks delish!! I am eager to go someday!! My husband is from VT and LOVES EVERYTHING maple, sorry you didn't like yours too much! You made a lot of progress around WS this day, good job! We will definitely put Tangerine Cafe on our list!

HOW SWEET of you to do the little video with Belle!!! I am so glad your niece loved it, and yes, it's one of the things that makes Disney so special, the cast members going out of their way for guests!

I'm glad J got on Soarin and enjoyed it!! :geek::geek::geek: How fun to recreate the whole family pic in Rose and Crown!! I'll have to try that some year!

It was my own fault for ordering something I knew I wouldn't like to begin with.,,

My niece watches that video(&the one from the year before) quite often!!

It was fun to recreate the picture but the crowds in there made it quite difficult!!
