I would make my ADR's for dinner earlier. I found our last trip we were ready to eat much earlier then 6:30/7:00pm.

I wont wait until the last day to fill up my photo pass CD. The last one we got because of the perfect proposal and I'm pretty sure we'll do them from now on. But we waited too long to start taking large amounts of pics and wound up with half a CD that made us look like we were in the same clothes all week. Interesting shots... but obviously the same clothes. A little funny looking back on it.

Next time I will just have it be my wife and I. We get a whole lot more done. We travlled with 4 other people this time and we must have stopped every 5 minutes. 1 for the bathroom, 1 to tie shoes, 1 to eat, and 1 to take something for the pain from walking.

We've built in a little more 'down time' into our schedule. Our last trip was the first time we went during the holiday season and we found ourselves running all over the place trying to do everything with all the special events going on. For our trip next year, we've arranged things a little differently by picking the things we most want to do like MVMCP and the CP along with the Epcot tree lighting and we're going to make sure we work those in and take out things like doing a tour. We're going to counter long nights like the party and EMH with late start mornings.

what would you or will you change on your next Disney vacation?
I plan to:
-visit the parks in the a.m. until around noon, go to the resort to swim or rest & return to the park around 4:00pm
-take more time to "take in" the sights instead of rushing from one attraction to another
-eat early dinner TS meals (around 4:00pm or 5:00pm) so that we can enjoy the parks until closing
-try a kitchen sink at Beaches & Cream (we didn't get a chance to do that on our last trip)
-walk around the BW (maybe take a bike ride)
-visit a water park
-do some character meals we have never done before

My next trip will already be very different from the others -- I'm going solo! Rather than sticking to an itinerary, I'm going to go with the flow, and take breaks to lounge around and enjoy the Disney magic!

I would not book the sci fi diner for dinner.I would focus more on resort restaurants for ts meals.theme park restaurants were not as good as the resort dinners we had.I would fly early in the morning to avoid delays at jfk.I would make sure my kids buy whatever hat they choose on the first day at the parks. My son kept waiting and before we knew it-trip over and the hat would have been a waste of money(Big goofy hats he would never wear once he was home but would have had a blast in it throughout the trip)My daughter bought a princess pirate hat and wore it the entire trip and now its in her room on one of her stuffed animals.I would start kidcot as soon as we got to epcot.we didnt start until 3 world showcases in and never got back to include the ones we missed. The kidcot is a great souviener that decorates my kids room now.I would definetely ask to ride the front car of the monorail.I realize now that i had 2 good chances of doing this and didnt speak up fast enough.

Sleep in and spend more time in the parks in the afternoon and at night. (a couple of days anyway)

Visit a water park or two.

Take time to enjoy the sights and take better pictures of them.

Eat more than one dolewhip.:slurp:

Try a new Disney Resort.

I want to relax and enjoy our next trip and don't stress out about seeing everything.

Make the trip longer...instead of a week, I really would like to do about two weeks, spread the time out, hit the water parks, do some miniature golf, find some different restaurants to eat. Stay at the AKL

I will go back in Oct, I will eat at Boma and California Grill again.

Definitely stay longer and go during a slower time. We always have to travel during school breaks with me in school and my parents both working for the school system. I would move a little slower. I would sleep in. I would just savor it all, even though, I still find doing the parks fast-fast-fast is a lot of fun!

I think the next time I go I would like to spend a little more time there. I went for 5 nights and it just did not seem like enough time, I feel like I only got to see half of what I wanted and never even got to see the pool. I may also suggest to my husband that we rent a car if we dont drive down. I was just there in September and felt like I spent endless hours waiting for and riding on the WDW busses to get from the resort to the parks. I have never had any issues with the busses until this trip. I also would like to go when the weather is a bit cooler. I dont think I was ever so hot in all my life. I had not been to WDW, or anywhere else in Florida, in 10 years and forgot how hot it could be.

I would sneak into the Utilidors via the CM exit near the Mermaid lagoon in MK, and explore the nether regions of MK underground.....:lookaroun shhh....dont tell anyone...

seriously We are leaving for WDW in 22 Days!:sohappy::sohappy: YAY!
while we have made our itinerary out ((we have the Dining plan)) and it makes easier to do so you dont end up criss crossing yourself all over the parks etc... We are going to slow down and enjoy the atmosphere of WDW. Too many times we spend all our time trying to be "Commando" WDW guests, that we miss some of the basic things in the parks....we are definately going to slow down........smell the smells, and take in the sights....afterall its VACATION!:lol:

This Feb. we are going for a week. It's the last while our daughter is still in high school so we want to savor it. We're just not sure when we all go again. We belong to DVC so we try to go every year but we may have to do long weekends instead of weeks. Take it all in this time and go at a reasonable pace.
