The look of this stuff is kinda ... well, bleh.

I was very tired of the Two Years of Two Million Dreams But Mostly Cheap Crap No one Really Wants campaign.

But this isn't exactly inspired either. ... oh well, at least this one will (hopefully) not last more than 12 months (which is likely with DL's 55th taking over come 2010).

You could work for TWDC Promotions with brainstorms like these...:lookaroun:lol:

Wait, I got another one. In 2010 WDW's promotion should be "What are you going to eat?" The promotion would promote the many dining plan options available to guests. Also, everyday one lucky family at each park would recieve a free meal from either Pecos Bills, Electric Umbrella, Backlot Express or Pizzafari. :lookaroun

So far, yeah.

Although you can be sure that WDW Pimpi... I mean Marketing is working on a scam ... oops, I mean scheme as we speak.

But with DL's 55th starting in 2010 (I believe they're kicking off in spring), they won't be able to 'extend due to guest demand' the WHAT WILL YOU CELEBRATE? deal.

You must realize at DL they mark milestones ... every five years from 1980 (25th) to 1985 (30th) to 1990 (35th) to 1995 (40th) to 2000 (45th) to 2005 (50th).

WDW decided after its 25th that it was better to just ignore milestones such as the 30th and 35th anniversaries, EPCOT's 25th (that one they just left to the fans to understood how important the milestone was!) etc ...

Heh! Watching Letterman and a WWYC Commercial just came on.Nice song. I do have to give the promo THAT. If there is one thing I DO like about any of the campaigns, it's the theme songs. I hope this one is used in the parks. YOAMD's classical music was nice too, on that note.

I see. Shame they can't promote without covering the product in even more promotion. A high school Marketing (DECA!) class thought me that.:lol: You can promote the product all you want, but covering the product in it's own promo is a bit much.

Yes, Dream Squad was constantly having guest say they didn't want their free dream ears or fast passes. You certainly never saw guest in the parks wearing the hats or lanyards!

EPCOT's 25th...yep, you hit the nail on the head there.

Glad to have started that all off....

( puffs chest out with shameless pride....)
