What will replace Pleasure Island?

This is so sad.... why does Pleasure Island have to go?? Why? I mean what will young adults have to do when they go out partying out at night at Disney? Like adult entertainment you know? No more Cirque de solie either I guess..or is Cirque de solie show in the Downtown Disney area I forgot..:shrug:

I believe Cirque du Soleil is going to remain. It is in the DTD area but it is not near PI. I'm not 100%, but 95%.

If I were to venture a guess, Disney's "bold new vision" is what replaced Pleasure Island.

Cirque is over in the West Side and is still operating Tuesday-Saturday so it hasn't gone anywhere...

Actually, I see any construction walls as bold new progress.

I don't think that is quite the plan for DTD. At least if Imayoyo is right. I'm pretty sure Disney will have a plan for that area. And it will be new and bold. Fun too.

I was there again few weeks ago and DTD isn't really much more exciting than this thrilling map.

Yeah, PI? Restaurants, Third Party Stuff. If you want something unique or Disney....Go elsewhere.

I agree with this. Disney contracting with stable third parties and leaving blank spaces on the "canvas" for WDI to fill in with varied Disney touches and compelling "suprises" to add to the atmosphere. Especially in the evening.

And no backstory to get limited by as times change.
