I personally think there was no grand master plan. If there was a plan when they closed the clubs it would be in affect by now. They have finished everything they had on agenda, Paradiso 37, Characters in Flight, and T-Rex Cafe. But hey it's ok because this fall right into Disney's new slogan "Less is More at WDW":brick:

We didn't see the FL plans before they leaked but that didn't mean they didn't exist. Quite clearly they did. And whenever somebody said new stuff was coming to the parks (including the MK), you and others said that was not possible because there was no "proof". (By your estimation anyway).
Obviously you are not good a recognizing the signals, so perhaps you should leave it to the experts.

Speaking of which, if there really is some bold new vision, wouldn't they have said something at D23? I'm sure Disney would have loved to use anything they could to make sure people are distracted from Harry Potter World.

Huh? Totally different scenario there. No closures.......Just a expansion. Here, we are looking and waiting for a old venue to be repurposed again....but nothing is happening. They closed it, and that's it. I don't see anything. There's no BOLD NEW VISION here. And if they are waiting to release plans, that's stupid too. They opened the door for malcontent by not showing how they were "fixing" PI.

Since all of our resident "experts" said nothing new was coming to the MK for at least 5 years and I disagreed.

They claimed that there was NO 5 year plan. There was no discussion of a 5 year plan by anyone.....ever. The claim was that there would be nothing new for at least 5 years. I claimed that TDO didn't have that authority since the realignment and that more powerful forces (sheriff) would intervene, and that is exactly how it happened.
Disagree if you want but you are taking the chance somebody will back me up on this. In any case I know the truth, and so do you. Which is why you do cartwheels defending the doomers.:lol:
