Late in life

Well the first time I walked in to the World I was 40 years old and had all kinds of plans.

The plan was Space Mountain first.

Well I walked in saw the Castle and then saw Mickey so I was just in AHHHH.

So my first ride was the train in the train station then we walked off at the next exit and did Splash Mountain...

And that is my favorite attraction up to now but going back this December and can't wait to do Everest & Toy Story that where not there last time.

257 days to go

Monorail. Growing up, watching the monorail on all the TV specials, I just knew my first ride was going to be the monorail, and it was-- we took the monorail around SSE over to Epcot. :)

Mine was the PeopleMover at Disneyland. Why? Well, I was in my 20's and the line for Space Mountain was really long and there was NO line for the People Mover and I thought it would be a good way to see Tommorowland and decide what I REALLY wanted to do first!

If I recall some 30-plus years ago (late 1976), it was either the horse-drawn trolley or the fireman's truck down Main Street USA. I know my dad had to pay with tickets. I think it was either A or B ride tickets.

My first ride was back in April 2001 and went right to Tomorrowland and our first ride was the Carousal of Progress. Missing it already can't wait to go back!!!!

If You Had Wings.

I think thats a part of why I loved it so much. I'd never seen such an amazing thing before and that was just the first ride! I vividly remember riding 20K after that, IASM then POTC...wow amazing

Spaceship Earth, early December, 1982. My parents had made the trip down from RI to spend Thanksgiving with us in our first home, and it was their first visit to FL ever.

We decided to visit WDW, and since Epcot had just opened, they wanted to see it first. (And they thought that MK was mostly for little children, not an adult daughter.)

That was the first of many trips for all of us. I had such a good time, that I made my husband come back in the Spring; I was pregnant with my first by then, and this was a vacation we were taking prior to his being deployed to the Mideast. :(

The only hotels were the Contemporary, Polynesian, Disney Inn (which may have been the Disney Golf Resort at that time?) and Ft Wilderness. We couldn't afford the first three (at the time) and didn't want to "camp" so we stayed offsite.

My first time to stay onsite was when the Carribean Beach resort opened....as WDW's value hotel.

My first ride was when i was 10 i think, we stayed at CBR, and headed first to the magic kingdom. Once there the first stop was Alien Incounter... Now its SGE, but its still a tradition its where we go first!

My first trip to Disney World I was 8 years now (now 32). My grandparents lived near Tampa, so we would visit them and make a day trip over to MK. If you can classify the Monorail as an attraction, than that was my first ride at the world. Second would be Space Mountain!!

My first Disney attraciton was The Living Seas in 1997, because Epcot was the first park we went to. There wasn't really a reason, it was just the first thing we decided to do for some reason.

I wish I could remember! It was 22 years ago! My parents don't remember either! :( One funny story did happen though my first time at the MK, my parents, my infant sister, and I went on what was then The Wed Way Mover, and we started moving through and into Space Mountain and my parents thought we were actually on Space Mountain!! They started flipping out, holding on to my sister for dare life! As If Disney would let infants on Space Mountain! It's so ridiculous to even think for a moment that could have happened!:brick: Funny though, 22 years later, everytime my family and I ride (The Wed Way Mover - which I still call it) we laugh and retell the story!!! It never gets old!!!!!!!:p:p:p

Our first visit to WDW was in 1992 staying at the Contemporary. We took the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and our first rides ever were Mission To Mars, Delta Dreamflight and the Wedway People Mover. I really don't remember why we chose that order, but after looking at the videotape I think it was due to the lines for the attractions on the route we took down Main Street and through Fantasyland. We still go on the TTA first when we go to the world.

Peter Pan's Flight because DS was 3 and that was what he wanted to ride first. Still one of my favorite rides, I always ride it only with him.

First ride ever at 5 years old was Snow White's Adventure back in 1986. Because that didn't go over so well, the next six (6!!!!) rides were on It's a Small World. That witch had me screaming.

My poor parents and younger sis, haha.
