What version of Pal Mickey should I get?

Well, scratch selling the boys' Pal Mickeys. Surprises me. DS14 has been working his off this summer earning the money to buy a new drum set & DS12 is saving up to buy some ultra-rare YugiOh card (<--:shrug. When I just asked them if they'd be interested in selling their Pal Mickey's both immediately said, "NO!" I asked why and they both said the same thing, "He's special. He's sentimental." DS14 went as far as to say he wanted to be able to let his kids play with him someday. So sweet! Surprises me, tho, because I've never seen either of them spend any amount of time playing with them. Strange. I figured they'd both jump at the chance to put more $$ in their pockets.

Hmm, I have version 3 (Sorcerer) with Christmas outfit, Pirate outfit, tourist outfit and raincoat. He's only gone around WDW once and once on the cruise. I don't really care to go through ebay, but he could be up for adoption if someone really, really wanted him.

Plus getting some outfits to go with him later into next week can't wait to get Pal Mickey and outfits now!!!!

My wife already saying she has dibs on him lol. So I have to get a v2 in October for myself. I'm just glad we finally have at least one for our upcoming trip.

Congrats! I still wish I had gotten the Sorcerer one to round out my collection. Plus I love that outfit!

I have a Santa and Pirate outfit back from when you could buy them in the parks. There used to be a Pal Mickey fan group where people showed off outfits they bought and/or made for their Pals. From what I remember, certain "teddy bear" and "doll" outfits found at stores like Micheal's and such would fit Pal.

I finally listed my Pal Mickey v2 tonight. There aren't too many others up for sale right now so I am hoping he will fetch a good price. I went crazy looking for the outfits I thought I bought but I can't find them anywhere. :hammer:

Happiest Pal Mickey

Hey Everyone!

We picked up a Pal Mickey in 2005 - he is a Happiest Celebration version with the gold bow tie and the Happiest emblem on his hand - anyone know what version he would be??

We take him with us when we go and take him to the parks about half the time since he can be a pain to carry especially if you want to go on rides that may get him wet.

They were $65 in the parks new. We have a Version 2 that my kids love to play with around the house.

It is funny Cause my girls are the same way...They were saving both their allowances to buy new DSI 's, let me tell you they were doing anything and everything to make that money....Well now they have them and well all those things they did to make money....Gone to the side!! I love how they get so picky when its their money..But if it's Mom and dad's....Yeah they don't even blink at the price!!
