…strange new worlds 6/15/23OKay have to be contrarian here now...
I would LOVE , and I mean LOVE to see they get the park rights to Star Trek, and then have competing space themes in DHS - as I really am not a huge star wars fan, this would be great for me being a trekkie.
Aren't they doing that in Epcot and Animal Kingdom (maybe)Retheme the entire area to Moana
whoah is that allowed aren't those supposed to be secret
I like the rides of Toy Story Land, but the land is pretty bad...Lol I like toy story land
I like the ride of Toy Story Land...lol The coaster is very cute and well done...and unfortunately takes up all the property... The Alien Spinning Saucers is a complete waste... This should have been an indoor attraction in a completely immersive outer space environment... such a missed opportunity...and Pizza Planet should have been attached so you could see out into outer space and the saucer attraction... The land needed more...and the giant Christmas Lights and toys gimmick is old...to me...It just isn't very engaging...and it could have been...I like the rides of Toy Story Land, but the land is pretty bad...
Yeah, that theming does nothing for me. I want to be in the Marvel Universe. I don't want to be walking through a giant comic book like the IOA theming indicates.God awful rock soundtrack?!?! The soundtrack in Marvel's Superhero Island is amazing! It captures the edge of Marvel Comics so well, instead of pretending like it's DC with those boring instrumentals. And worse theming than Avengers Campus??
Honestly, while I admit there are elements of Marvel Superhero Island that are clearly low budget, including the costumes, I enjoy the premise— it's literally suppose to simulate walking into a comic book. But the execution ranges in quality, sure. That said, I prefer it to a grounded Marvel Studios take on the land. How does one make a realistic Marvel land interesting? The majority of Marvel stories are set in New York, and a generic city environment isn't one that feels particularly compelling to become immersed in, even if one of the buildings has an 'A' on it.
They can use him in crossover appearances, but they can't do a solo movie without Universal's involvement. Universal owns the distribution rights to Hulk & Namor; that's why we haven't gotten a Hulk movie since 2008, even though he was the fan favorite character in the first Avengers.Uh MCU has Namor in its movie house already
Star Trek would be really cool at Epic Universe. Though, it would be pretty funny to have Star Wars & it in the same park. They could have some cool fan "fight" events lmaoOKay have to be contrarian here now...

Pick a day in the summer and have Spock vs. Darth Vader - have at it sirs!Star Trek would be really cool at Epic Universe. Though, it would be pretty funny to have Star Wars & it in the same park. They could have some cool fan "fight" events lmao
Disney, sadly, takes itself too seriously for something like this nowadays. That's the type of fun, goofy stuff that theme parks should excel in.Pick a day in the summer and have Spock vs. Darth Vader - have at it sirs!

I think you could make New York interesting by having a lot of animatronics, actors & effects. Let us feel the action of the Marvel Universe. Have Spider-Man & Daredevil randomly leaping across rooftops, random superhero vs supervillain fights, sound effects of Iron Man flying overhead, etc...
I don't think it'll happen since everything has to be a dedicated IP land now. But I think a Fox land with a bunch of Fox related rides could be cool. Planet of the Apes, Independence Day, Home Alone, etc... Hell, let's finally get the Alien ride that Eisner wanted so badly (& so do I lol).
This would've been a great idea. IDK how I feel about it in a post TSL world though, that feels like too much Pixar. Maybe add one more Pixar IP & then I'd spread the love among other IPs tbh.The original idea of having a DHS “Fantasyland” themed to the Pixar animation campus was incredible and should have happened. Each campus building housing a different smaller scale dark ride? A no brainer. Hopefully this can happen at some point.
